TTJ love is a bit of a difficult case to explain. The fact his love threads were just starting to grow means this is a new experience for him. It is his first time falling in love and I do believe he did love her but I also believe because she handled him like a mission instead of a broken person, it turned into a unhealthy obsession. What she done only made him cling into the only love he ever had and that made him addicted to it. I find him tragic especially when he said, "She is the only one in the world who cared for me." His character have so much layers. It's a shame to see him get betrayed.

Controversial opinion but I don’t believe Li Susu actually loved Tantai Jin. Her delivery in the past few episode especially in the tower scene had me a little dumbfounded. Because I'm genuinely confused how people imply it's affection but these very words and actions were actually negatively impacting Tantai Jin. I've seen people say she said that because she loved him so much but I'm not fond of this "love". It reminds me too much of parents who constantly say hurtful and awful words to their kids and assume that will motivate the child to be better but it usually don't. Anyway, those are just my thoughts. I still enjoy this drama and so far, it's a solid 8 for me. It brought me out of my drama slump.

Seen the first episode and was like... yea, he is looking the best currently. I used to think if a women wrote a story, she will do justice to her female charcters but now, I'm like no, a lot of them don't. A good writer will find a good balance without making women too mary sue or damsel in distress.

I haven't seen it yet but I know it's better. In anime, the ones that are so highly spoken off have rules and foundations in world building writing and usually, that makes them popular. I was also thinking of HxH.

I feel my disappointment now just coming from my expectations. When they announced season 2 before season 1 ended, I thought it would be because they had more to expand on the plot.

It really is impressive 🤣 usually negative feedback, especially like this one, almost never get this much thumps up but I guess many people were disappointed.

I was gonna make a review explaining in detail how season 1 had a big problem with world Building, power scaling, power system and how it affected the quailty of AOS... however, I knew no one in MDL cares about actual foundation nor will they understand why it's a problem. Only an anime fan would understand my explanation so I decided not too. You did a good job explaining it in "world rules" and in "cancel writing" section. I'm about to start season 2 but... I'm very disappointed to hear there is no plot except in the last 2 episode. I thought season 2 would be better plotwise because they already developed the romance in the first season and had TOO MUCH romance already but of course... k-drama amnesia had to hit and romance had to restart 😶

I haven't seen season 2 yet but... this is what I feared. I hate how so many dramas pull the "physically strong, kick ass, powerful female" on the first episode...ONLY THE FIRST EPISODE then she is nothing like this for the rest of the drama. She ends being a damsel in distress, making troubles, and somehow, the hero by the end for doing nothing. And no, I don't want strong female leads. I liked many softer natured characters like Dali from Dali and the Cocky Prince, Yan from The Long Ballad than I've liked "physically strong female leads" because BARELY any k-drama writes "physically strong female lead" right. It seems like the show just wanted the Male lead to look good at every opportunity.

Oooh boy, I know BL fans from anime and they definitely... obnoxious. I just try to avoid them.

I got a twitter account but I'll never be there for kdrama twitter. I feel like that will get toxic real quick. I heard enough about actors/actresses fans fighting each other.

It had it's moment because it also gives you an idea what he is investing on and what each year had to offer. Making him as a seer wouldn't be bad but being business smart wouldn't work because realistically, not everything you invest will blow up especially if you are 20 year old. It's all risks at this point. So being seer is the only option in getting something close to this.

Tbh, I agree. I feel like revenge would be pointless if you are mentally 50. I was waiting for him to buy the company just to sell it right away lol I thought that would be funny but fitting "revenge."

It's common in here. Someone said I was blind for not liking a couple in a Chinese drama. Like all this energy and disrespect over a fictional character that doesn't even exist? Some people forget their decency.

I'm suprised by the amount of screentime Wu Lei's had. I thought he played a very, very minor role but nope, he's already here from the start. I seen him in LLTG and TLB so this is the third drama in a row. It's fascinating seeing him as a literal child. Like wow. His acting really improved greatly and I'm glad I seen him as an adult first lol with child actors, they may grow but if I seen them when they are a child, even as adults, they are like children to me 🤣 at least Wu Lei is saved from this.

I'm watching this for the first time in 2023 and it's...definitely outdated lol But I don't think it's a bad thing. Just the quailty improved greatly over the years (as it should). I think it needs some patience but I'm in episode 2 so I barely started.

It's refreshing to see a drama that doesn't treat their audience like they are dumb however, with these plot, I worry about how I'll follow along with the amount of name drop + places mentioned. Thankfully, I'm in episode 2 so far and I'm able to get the gist of what's going on without an issue. I just need to remember the names (or maybe I should write them down).

I don't think it would be perfect because the reborn part is essential for Do Jun's success. The knowledge of the future made Do Jun richer and also caused him to play the family members like a fiddle.

I thought this season was completed because the first 3 reviews had labelled theirs as complete 🤣 I was ready to start but I see still 4 more days. I'll wait a little before I marathon this.

I'm just gonna say Vincenzo was better but this somewhat a good watch. It's enjoyable. I'm looking at the list of dramas this week and there isn't much to be desired so if you feeling the same, give it a try

I didn’t like the ending. I'm kinda 50 with it. It feels like the ending ruined the whole set up for the drama that it was trying to build. However, unless the ending is completely artioous, it just drops the rating by 0.50 or 1/1.50 from the original one for me. Of course, everyone have their own rating system and this ending might have impacted it much larger.
