It's impressive how he notice the minute they remembered. It shows how good he can read people.

He was following her but how did her know she remembered him? Maybe he is the one linked with her and Gyehoon lmao

Edit: The only explanation is he reads people's expressions pretty well.

So you are telling me, Dahyun was near a street tent/stall and instead of staying put where people are around, she chose to go to an alley where nobody is there and they spend 20 minutes showing the consequences of her actions? She was even on a call but of course, she never completed her sentence.

Aside from FL being dumb as usual, Gyehoon really the saving grace. His scenes were heartfelt and I'm glad to see him finally get the closure he needs.

I'm 30 minutes into the first episode and the cinematography of the drama is pretty! Director really put in some work to get beautiful shots. I hope they keep up this level of quailty for 20 episodes.

Thanks for letting me know! Always good to have someone mention not to go in high expectations.

I enjoy romance so I don't mind if they focus on it at some points and not at the other. It's just gets tiring to see half-baked plots with the romance being the only redeeming quailty. I hope this seires surpise me.

You will absolutely love this drama. It is beyond good.
It's rare for me to enjoye a drama to the fullest so I'm hoping I do. I love historical settting but I'll go in with not much expectation.

It's actually a plot-driven. It has many great characters too.
It's been a while since we have not romance centric plot driven kdrama so I am looking forward to it!

I'm going to start this drama soon. It's seems well received from the few comments I'm skimming through. I'm guessing this is not a drama that relies on romance to carry it's back right? Cuz so many kdramas like this lately.

Good response. It changed my mind. Although I've been wondering if the friend of the police officer have a criminal record . If he does, this level of careless behavior from the police is inexcusable.

Nobody is replying to you because it's lazy writing. You can't explain nonsense.

2 episodes in and the wife is so toxic, holy shit! I was trying to come up with excuses for her but she keeps getting worse and worse by the minute. She can't be reasoned with at all and I'm glad she left for the sanity of everyone's mind including her own.

bestie dont watch it if you don't like it
Bestie, I'll be making a review and I need to see how it ends so I don't make stupid review that end ups with mistake ♡ I hope bestie is leaving this type of comment under everyone's comment who doesn't agree with bestie. I'll put trigger warning next time to not hurt your feelings. I'll refer to you to go to The King: Eternal Monarch and check the reviews section so bestie can broaden her mind out of her childish bubble. Have a look at how many people completed the drama and I hope you learn to stop policing people on what they should do. Maybe now you learn why the review section exist. It's not JUST for 10 out of 10 reviews.

And no, the old man wasn't just selfish but evil as well. People need to start acknowledge instead of calling it selfish and cold. He was vile, disgusting and evil but I agree with your points.

I only watch Chinese dramas here and there. I wanted to start this but it seems like series being divided into parts are becoming more and more trendy lately. Thanks for letting me know. I thought of waiting for part 2 but it already have so many episodes so binging it now might be better than later.

It's very common in MDL users. They always act like the plot is so deep and that everyone who didn't like it, is missing the message. I enjoy the lack of complete self awareness about how they are coming across.

Agree. Most k-dramas should be 12-13 episodes instead of 16. The writing will be so much better than this.
Exactly. They should break this rule already. This is not the only drama that stretch which is why many other dramas have the same comments.

Finally someone said it is evil. This is not cold or selfish, this is an act of literally evil.

Her job is right next to her house which is something most women don't have. Her mother or grandma can do the groceries while she gets her paycheck. They can also walk her there and back. She is privileged, stupid and lack a sense of danger after her abuser almost killed and expressed his thoughts to be around her. However, you already recognized it's a writing flaw so kudos to you.
