I'm going to start this drama soon. It's seems well received from the few comments I'm skimming through. I'm guessing this is not a drama that relies on romance to carry it's back right? Cuz so many kdramas like this lately.

Good response. It changed my mind. Although I've been wondering if the friend of the police officer have a criminal record . If he does, this level of careless behavior from the police is inexcusable.

Nobody is replying to you because it's lazy writing. You can't explain nonsense.

Title Go Ahead
2 episodes in and the wife is so toxic, holy shit! I was trying to come up with excuses for her but she keeps getting worse and worse by the minute. She can't be reasoned with at all and I'm glad she left for the sanity of everyone's mind including her own.

bestie dont watch it if you don't like it
Bestie, I'll be making a review and I need to see how it ends so I don't make stupid review that end ups with mistake ♡ I hope bestie is leaving this type of comment under everyone's comment who doesn't agree with bestie. I'll put trigger warning next time to not hurt your feelings. I'll refer to you to go to The King: Eternal Monarch and check the reviews section so bestie can broaden her mind out of her childish bubble. Have a look at how many people completed the drama and I hope you learn to stop policing people on what they should do. Maybe now you learn why the review section exist. It's not JUST for 10 out of 10 reviews.

And no, the old man wasn't just selfish but evil as well. People need to start acknowledge instead of calling it selfish and cold. He was vile, disgusting and evil but I agree with your points.

I only watch Chinese dramas here and there. I wanted to start this but it seems like series being divided into parts are becoming more and more trendy lately. Thanks for letting me know. I thought of waiting for part 2 but it already have so many episodes so binging it now might be better than later.

It's very common in MDL users. They always act like the plot is so deep and that everyone who didn't like it, is missing the message. I enjoy the lack of complete self awareness about how they are coming across.

Agree. Most k-dramas should be 12-13 episodes instead of 16. The writing will be so much better than this.
Exactly. They should break this rule already. This is not the only drama that stretch which is why many other dramas have the same comments.

Finally someone said it is evil. This is not cold or selfish, this is an act of literally evil.

I don't think that was even a twist... Writer is presenting how gyeyoung's disappearance (& death) have been a…
Her job is right next to her house which is something most women don't have. Her mother or grandma can do the groceries while she gets her paycheck. They can also walk her there and back. She is privileged, stupid and lack a sense of danger after her abuser almost killed and expressed his thoughts to be around her. However, you already recognized it's a writing flaw so kudos to you.

I put it on quotation for a reason as a reference to what he said. Although that dialogue falls under what we call an Author Purpose. It a writing style where an author would use text or speech to display their intent. He could have said it differently like, "Unexpectedly, he let her go." But instead, he used the word twist. If you don't wish to interpret it literally, that's fine although someone taking it literally is valid as well because the text exist.

No, don't play innocent. You said I was "complaining" not that I'm discussing the show with everyone but fron a different perspective. It's very hypocritical of you to play it around as if I denied you a discussion when you started it off on a bad note. If anything, it would be you thay didn't want discussion because people didn't view it from your lens alone.

Most k-drama shouldn't be 16 episodes because most of them suffer from this. You can tell writers are writing…
True. Some people have gave some good responses on why they don't like this drama however, it doesn't explain why they think is dragging lol I agree with you on that although people who said it's repetitive, I also agree with them. I find the pacing of this drama pretty decent and a lot better in than the first half. I'm not bothered by what people say that because it's subjective. I find some shows boring because of romance but I never leave a feedback because that's heavily subjective I feel a lot of people want to express they don't enjoy it but don't know why so they misuse words like draggy. I'm firm believer though for people to give a drama shot no matter what anyone say. People should read reviews when they have mixed feelings so they can see if affirm their suspicion. But unfortunately, not everyone will follow my thought process.

And it have a mystery. If my message was to show how cold and selfish people are, I would never reveal the killer. I would let this drama be about how the neighbours keeping secrets, resulted in a horrible outcome. And we just later on find out the remains of the girl and the killer is never found. That's would be a better conclusion than whatever I'm seeing right now.

Saying that won't change the glaring flaws within the writing. You are saying people are selfish but I'm not seeing selfish, I'm seeing so many stupidity. Characters making illogical decisions. Do you even know why the stalker was so obsessed with the female lead? You don't. Writing flaw right there. Female lead walks around at night, in dark alleys knowing a killer is on the loose but what she does? She waits to be choked, she baits the killer but acts surprised. Humanism would had her never leave the house or at least go to work since it's across the street but nope. This is a mystery drama as well. Don't dismiss it just because it doesn't align with your selective thinking. It's tagged as one for a reason. Why do you think the writer was creating fake suspense by having the stalker come in and out to create tension? You think she wrote the stalker stirring up the plot to show how cold and selfish people are? No. She wrote it to spice it up.

I'm also sure you know many women, after finding out the person who tried to kill them is roaming free in their neighborhood, will walk alone at night, bait the killer, and go to place were help can't be reached because your everyday women do this. This is epitome of good writing because you, men and many women will walk that street after an attack like you are not at risk. Such good writing. Let me bow down at the realism. You are right. This story does lack good judgement in the way it's written. Sticking to the core of the message by being the messgae.

Most people use draggy because slow pace doesn't mean there is a problem with a story. A lot of peoplw enjoy slow paced stories. A good slow burn hits different. Nobody uses draggy to describe it. I would agree that people misuse it. It's probably way simpler explanation for people who aren't good at pinpoint exactly why they don't like it. Although if a drama can be shortened, it usually means there are many unnecessary scene. Personally, it will make the story more cleaner and well portioned if it was shorter. They can take many scenes away from the romance that won't affect the overall story. And I also think the series didn't utilise many of their side characters. Most of them disappeared for a good 5 episodes. Right now, we still don't know if the abused woman is safe? Since her husband is on the loose. The conclusion was just left open. The wife who stole the knife implies she knows something but, once again, it doesn't show beyond that. The stalker constantly coming back and why he have a weird obsession with Dahyun, doesn't get mentioned either. He is psycho for the sake of it. The guy who ran over the stalker side story ended pretty quickly.

Literally came out of the guy mouh was "But there was a surprising twist." The writer you are defending wrote this line to invoke there is a "twist" which is why I put it in quotation. And no, this isn't like many of the girl disappearances. If a young girl went to someone asking for help, a person will help. But this writer is good at writing illogical nonsense and villains with no depths.

Sorry that I don't live my life the way you want me too? I guess you also one of those people who don't want anyone to give negative feedbacks at all because in your mind, everyone should drop. Although most feedbacks come from people who watches rather than the people who dropped.

but in my opinion it's ok it's still worth to watch 14 episodes
The mystery was all cheap. I never had a problem with it unravelling slowly but I did with HOW it was unravelling. The stalker was ready to reveal everything at episode 8 but male lead didn't want to hear"nonsense from the stalker". The writer is coming up with the stupidest ways to unravel the past and now that I reached episode 14, I genuinely never wanted to drop a series so bad. I'm skipping through ep 15 and 16 just to see if some justice was served cuz everything is ridiculously done.
