It kinda just hit me by the end of the show how all of us just collectively pretended how normal the Guillotine File is lol like nobody found it weird there is a file of literally every single information and some cases that nobody knows exist except those involved? Who documented such important events and how did they verify these information? Not even the police knows about them. It's such a plot convenience but I can't help but think whoever did make the file would make a good villain.

For our protagonists, yes. For the antagonist... no.

It's pretty refreshing how Vincenzo handled Han Seok and Myunghee. Finally a Korean drama that took a step outside of that law justice and took matters on their own hands. It was bold and daring. I literally grimaced and it had an impact.

The show just ended. Of course there will be people criticizing it and also adoring it. And guess what? There will be more. Why? Because people are watching it late and there will be those who like or dislike it. Not everyone is going to comment about it on 2nd of May and "move on". I just finished it today myself. When are people supposed to "move on"?

What he did to Myunghee was brutal but so symbolic.

I already said in another post that the villains is one of this show shortcomes. I also don't understand her loyalty however, I do get why she went for him at the end. Nothing she would have done, would have saved her from Vincenzo then let someone who hates him with passion chase after him. It's too bad Han seok wasn't smart (as we already know) so he couldn't have done anything. Even his hostage situation had a ridiculous set up. He could have used Cha Young and his brother more wisely. He literally could have incapacitated Vincenzo using Cha Young and possibly even killed him but of course, plot armor to the rescue.

I saw this comment in another post and liked it as well. The real excuse is people using love to explain why the writer messed up. They fail to see that writer could have taken a different route where it was inevitable that it happened this way rather than make it a choice that it happened that way.

"No plot flaws" thanks for the good laugh. We don't need to make "excuses" when we also love the drama. Pointing out that it have flaws doesn't make us love this drama any less.

Poor execution came from the fact Vincenzo left his and Cha Young back WIDE OPEN and TRIED to LEAVE instead of SUBDUING the enemy with a GUN that was right behind him. The Vincenzo we know, would ENSURE his enemies doesn't even have a chance to counterattack. He never turned his back on anyone and fought every battle in the previous episodes. Plus Han Seok actually fell down so plenty of opportunities to actually make the right move.

For one moment, stop thinking it's about Han Seo death. My sister and I only seen episode 19 and we both were pissed asf and we didn't even see him die. Let me ask again, if Cha Young died from that, would you still like it? It's the same situation but a slight tweak.

Don't even make me mention how nobody saw Myung Hee taking the fall for everything didn't let people, who STUDIED LAW like our genius Vincenzo and Cha Young, realize it exonerated Han Seok out of jail. Plot made a couple of bad moves and I'm glad to see many people weren't falling for that bullshit.

Because the execution was awful? Imagine if Cha Young got a fatal shot that killed her instead of hitting her shoulder, would you still love it? I doubt it. When you give this type of awful, downright ridiculous execution, it deserves the backlash. I wouldn't have mind if it actually made sense but it didn't and people adored him.

As a writer, I agree lol Even instead of 16, he could do it in 18 if necessary. That traitor prosecutor who switched sides, they could dealt with him a lot sooner + shorten his scenes. The added politicians that were added in the last few, we could do without, etc.

You haven't watched 15-20 yet? I would still recommend you to watch it...because the shows takes a shift from that point. However, I totally get it. I'm more disappointed in HOW he died then the fact he died. The writers really messed up.

Yeah, I never recognized him as the prosecutor from Fiery Priest until my sister suddenlyly mentioned it. I was like no, that's not him he looks different... lmao that was him! I was shocked. First time I actually couldn't recognize someone I seen. I finished Fiery Priest then watched Vincenzo yet I still didn't see it XD

Glad more people are on same page as me. I already said that at episode 8 and I was in the minority but now that show ended, the writer never upgraded her character or made a transition so I was guess I was right in thinking she will always remain in the shadows.

Ikr? I heard what happens next... I didn't watch it yet but damn, it's bittersweet. I'm happy with his choice to save them but sad that it had to happen like this.

I'm going to delay watching episode 20 from the atrocious that was episode 19. I can't believe the writer really did this.

WTF??? I know I'm late to the party but I just finished episode 19.... THAT SHIT DON'T MAKE SENSE? 1. They didn't need to make him "knee" for no reason knowing how kneeing is considering an act of importance. Han Seok asked him to be beaten to death. That can be done while standing! So unnecessary! Then Han Seo goes and SAVE CHA YOUNG FOR HIM! What his ass does? Take Cha Young and try to leave? Leaving his back wide open like Han Seo can handle Han Seok all by himself? What was he going to do next? Call the police once he leaves and ask them to get there in time? Doesn't he knows Han Seok would chase after them? That was so stupid! So disappointing! He could have freed her and subdued Han Seok or he could have subdued Han Seok first then freed her. Now she shot for NOTHING! This was so stupid. Nothing y'all going to say going to justify this scene since Vincenzo is the smartest guy in the whole show.
