K-dramas have been stepping up their budget lately. I'm hoping the money goes through ensuring the quality of the show and not paying it for famous actors to be in it.
The twins were right about soo ryun neglecting them and not caring deeply for them no matter how much she tries…
If I ever find out my husband is a psycho, I would be paying more attention to my kids and find out why they seems to harbor hatred for me. But she didn't. She is too caught up with her other daughters that she really neglected them. I mean even the brother saw the bruise on his sister hands... she is barely around the kids to notice and that's why they are misbehaving.
I agree. However I do agree with Winnie that she did mistreat her kids in that she hardly pays any attention to…
What Cathy N said. She definitely neglacted them and she deserve to be called out for it. It's the reason why the twins don't trust her. They live in the same house yet she never noticed the abuse. To them, that's just means their mom either is like their dad (she knows AND allows the abuse) or doesn't care about them. That's why they don't like her.
I'm sorry but I can't accept shim soo ryun w/ logan lee plz it's too weird (ᗒᗣᗕ)
People talking about chemistry... but like that's her daughter's step brother .... he would technically be her step son if she found out Min Seol A before it was too late.
I hope Oh Yeen Hye isn't the murderer because a worse plot twist than this doesn't exist. I know the writer did…
Someone mentioned that it's possible for her to be reaching out to save her from the fall and ended up only grabbing her necklace but her memories were altered from fear. However, let's not put our expectations on this theory.
I agree with Antaria77 about Im Myung Sook being an example as to how not all monsters kill humans. However, I…
I'm actually wondering if her storyline ended here (like she only wanted to be reunited with her child and that's it) or if it will extend more. I was talking about this with my sister and we came up with the theory that she may come out after 9 months with the child.
I applaud Sweet Home for giving us a fresh and new plot that we haven't seen in the last decade for k-drama. Please continue to support this.
With that being said tho, this drama doesn't escape my criticism. I'm hoping season 2 would have better execution and a "clear" directing. The storyline, at times, felt inchoesive and confusing like I'm supposed to fill in the "gaps". I know we shouldn't be spoonfeed every detail but sometimes I don't realize what actually transpired until it's over and the next scene started. This takes me out from the emotions the writer originally wanted me to have.
Another problem I had is how the characters aren't as fleshed out as they should be. It's common when you got many characters to tell but characters like Eunhyeok or Hyun Su suffer from the repercussions. With Eunhyeok, we didn't really get a flashback about his life to get us to better understand his past while with Hyun Su, not enough dialogue from him (yeah, he is quiet but there is impact when people like him speak). I also didn't like how the monsters were no longer there near the end but I can be forgiving for that.
Lastly, the music kinda sucked. Should have went with epic instrumental instead to glorify it.
I think most of the negativity of the show, you already mention in your post. From the regression of the ML, the…
No offense but you don't understand why some people rated it a 5 and below when you skipped the romance and dramatic scene, which is basically half of the show? If you have to skip the essence of the series then it deserves 5 and less. There isn't any questioning that. Unfortunately, a lot of us sat through it all so the flaws are VERY apparent that's why it affects our decision.
The teacher just made Ro Na a target of bullying and left. He should comeback and fix it just like he started it. What's the point of annoying those bullying kids if you won't continue it? I'm hoping he would do something about it.
Please tell me this current storyline will not continue for long. I'm already frustrated with Ro Na's and Eun Byeol's situation. I want the actual truth to come out so Eun Byeol can face the harsh reality of HER MOM. Just like she is bullying others for this, she should face the SAME humiliation.
Hey I just wanted to know if this drama was worth watching? I watched sky castle and it is one of my favourite…
Sky Castle was more grey. It's more about the importance of education to these rich families and the length they will push their children for it. This one is alot crazier and more evil character. So much bullying and immoral actions. If you can handle it, go for it.
I have literally ... been triggered ... at LEAST 7-8 times while watching this show, and I’m only on ep. 4,…
The first 5 epsiodes of this drama really is triggering. The amount of insanity makes you want to strangle everyone in the series lol but it starts to get better and more mild after that. When the good guys starts getting the upper hand, it's very satisfying.
And her writing is entertaining too! Im currently watching The Last Empress too. I end up laughing most of the…
It gets even more ridiculous lol trust me but it was very entertaining. It's actually one of my favorite dramas of that year. I can see why SSR didn't accept this role when I compare it with Kairos (which is airing at the same time). Dan Tae role isn't as appealing as his role in The Last Empress and Kairos. Actor Ki Joon was a good cast though.
Writer Kim Soon Ok really knows how to make charismatic characters. You start this drama hating all the antagonists (just like The Last Empress) but by the middle, they slowly creep into you. You start seeing the charm in their villainy. Of course, I still wish for downfall.
