I thought more about this, and it is no coincidence that Ji Can himself has a moon theme, and that Bai Ze and Ji Ling look at the moon when discussing the first Lonescale.
Jiu Ying is the main villain, and in the final fight, WSG and WWY launched an attack that involved shooting an arrow.
This is no doubt a nod to Hou Yi, the mythical archer who shot and killed Jiu Ying.
Hou Yi is most well-known for his story with Chang'e, the moon goddess.
There are a couple of notable versions of this story. It typically goes like this
She drinks the elixir of immortality and ascends alone to the moon, where she becomes separated forever from her husband, Hou Yi. He remains on earth, while she lives in the cold, silent Moon Palace.
Kinda mirrors how Ji Ling became lonely after becoming Long Shen and gaining immortality, and watching people around him die.
Chang'e also became immortal and was separated from her husband Hou Yi, who eventually also died.

It might have never been shown like Wu yi actually reading it, you can assume somewhere in the loop maybe even after the first time. That Hanba somehow discover the truth which led to the drought. So she knew what would had happen

Just remember LWY was created AFTER the flood dragon massacre.
It was when WSG master ( the star stone) blew WWY and the foxes up that JY took pieces from them to create LWY.
The timeline that WSG ended in after Ji Ling alter the past have to be a different timeline from what we say from episode 1-29 before Ji Ling go back in time.
But as I wrote before, a timeline where LWY was not created and go through all the event that we saw happen from 1-25 When it was show that LWY was A'Wu (the fox stuffed animal) that Ji Ling carried.
There many interpretation of what "fated one" mean
For the LWY and JL case, it is a causal loop set of events.
Because the loop seems to work like this:
LWY exists → enters the time loop → realizes she cannot save him through ordinary means → goes back to the point when JL is at his loneliest → prevents his death → JL survives and becomes LS → JY creates LWY to get close to JL → LWY exists ( All the events that lead to LWY to go back to the moment when she severed her tail to give hope to JL) > JL doesn't commit suicide
This order of event which creates a closed causal loop.
So LWY’s existence depends on JL surviving, while JL surviving depends on LWY existing. That is the paradox.

And each of these loves came with its own obsession.
