Mr was like many of his past dramas that has a big female centric theme, i feel like once an actor get popular in one type of drama he will get lots of offers for those type of dramas, xukai got really popular after story of yangxi palace and it was a big female centric drama also. It's not his fault if he get lots of offer for those type of projects and rarely get as many ml centric dramas. I hope he will get more projects that are ml centric dramas like once upon a time in lingjian mountain or eight hundred, but it kind of understandable why female centric dramas are so popular because most of the audiences are females. I hope you're wrong about spring of the blade from the trailer it look like it will be focus on dual leads. And his future projects will also be ml centric from my understanding.

From his recent interviews when he was ask about a new project he was saying he is looking for the right script so it could be he is just more selective since he now has options and doesn't have to take any dramas that he was offer like in the past when he was still being control by yuzheng, but i also heard the chinese entertainment is really bad right now and many actors are out of work so not as many dramas are film.

I'm different from you I didn't see any marketing materials that highlight their romance rather it was the father and son conflicts that was put at centermost, i thought the fl was just a support role so i didn't expect much from her character when the drama was first announce so i didn't watch this drama for romance; the fl is much younger than xukai so i kind of understand why they don't film intimate scenes like his other romantic dramas and i rather like their platonic love since i didn't expect them to be in a relationship in the first place.

You made lots of claims that can't be proven that without tx the drama would've fail or her character popularity, i chose to believe you about her character popularity for the sake of it but you have not proven any of those claims. My claim disney+ acquired it because of xukai can be supported because at the time moonlit reunion was about to premier xukai has a bigger international audiences, his status was higher than tx, i saw a post regarding disney+ and xukai and it's not bluffing; no one has contradicted it when it was posted beside you 😅

I said disney+ got moonlit reunion because of xukai because i saw a post about it, unless you can prove that post a lie, and why being so work up over it it's all just opinion whoever carry the drama. What scandal, if it was affected i find it surprising he was still able to surpass 100 millions popularity, and the drama was still running and not drop by the platforms as some scandals would warrant such action by the platforms to not affect their investment 😅

I don't think the poster was lying or trying to deceive anyone on this page, i was following this page and i saw post of xukai surpassing 100 millions populary but non for tian xi wei so if she did reach 100 millions populary then congrats to her. If we're talking about acting and being bash i seen a reviewer bashing both xk and tx for their acting so don't mind them. Sure more people are drawn to her character being more expressive and domineering, while his character is more quiet and reserve so they automatically made the conclusion her character carry the drama, but is that true, or it just an opinion. It's also true there was some rumors about him while the show was airing but it didn't affect the drama and can we even call it a scandal anyone can make up bad publicity to smear someone in china apparently cause the public will eat it up regardless if it was truth or lie. In any case i also heard it was because of xukai influence that disney+ obtain this drama for us distribution and it was the first drama that disney+ has done it so it's not wrong for some to believe he carry the drama. My answer both carry the drama tx and xk were consistently rank as #1 and #2 on some charts alternatively while the drama was airing even with all the negative rumors he didn't take a big hit for it.
