I think for baijue and shanggu they're the same type of people, as a result they have an unspoken understanding of what the other was doing. Sure they hurt each other in the process, but if you listen to when shanggu told baijue this is my duty this is what you taught me when he asked her to not go through with her plan to sacrifice her life, or before she died and she told him I'll leave you the three realms. She didn't need to tell him that but she did anyway because she knew he would take care of the three realms in her place as a true god. So even though she was angry for what he did by lying to her, she understood because they both care for the three realms, and it's their duties as the highest beings in the three realms. This is why shanggu fell in love with baijue and not with tianqi, no matter how much tianqi loves her, she could only see him as a brother. Baijue has always been about duty all his life, he was taught from early childhood by the ancient god to fight for the god realm and risk his life by doing that, as a result he is cold and kept to himself. The only one who could get close to him was shanggu when she became his student, and I can totally see why he falls for her, who wouldn't fall for a girl who work so hard to get his acknowledgement, who became a capable chief god after training under him. That's why I said they're the same type of people, and why they fell in love with each other.

For tianqi there was never a question what he did wasn't evil and that why he was condemned by the whole heavenly palace. Wuhuan was able to do so much of her evil by blaming it all on the demon clan and the demon god because of the immortals distrust of him that was the reason why the war between the demons and immortals started. It only later on when baijue exposed wuhuan for killing yuemi that tianqi was finally absolve of his guilt and accept by the immortals again.

He's known to international fans through that role I think. Xukai has lots of roles I like, among them I'm most impressed with his roles n ancient love poetry, court lady, story of yanxi palace and once upon a time in lingjian mountain as well. Forget to mention his latest drama character is really so different from most of his other characters I seen before, his character was really mature and a great boyfriend material in loss in Kunlun mountain ^^

So it's going to be postponed and not air on Oct 13, but they just announced it. Why announced it in the first place, tencent going to get lots of angry fans if Oct 13 and the drama doesn't air :(

Another rumor drama for xk?

Too bad there's no second season. I didn't know he was top billed for that drama. That just proves even low cost drama can do well if it has the right actor/actress to carry it ^^

In term of romance, I would say court lady has more side couples, so I would say it's better. The main couple can be frustrating for both dramas.

Finally we got an official announcement. Can't wait to watch xukai and yangmi in their new drama ^^

Thanks for your reply. I'm surprised lingjian mountain gotten such a good reception from Chinese fans. That drama really showcase his talent for comedy. I wouldn't mind seeing him playing a similar type of character again smart and resourceful, but also playful ^^

Yeah I hope she and her perfect husband will be a hit for both xukai and yangmi^^ Also i think it much harder to get a TV broadcast, being they waited so long for TV broadcast, but still couldn't get a date. I'm glad to see it finally has an airing date. I'm assuming it will get a TV broadcast after it's air on web first.

I know he gotten some fame from story of yanxi palace. How are his other dramas doing in china. I knew falling into your smile didn't receive well in china but international fans love it ^^

Next year is most likely, it just finished filming this year.

There's a scene ml gotten sick and his servant was worried for him, and he gotten mad at the fl, that was in the early eps, not with sml. Sml is older, so he's good at keeping cool. Both of them has lots of confrontations though, i really like those scenes due to their acting ^^

Very good, at first they were enemies because the sml thought ml father killed his family, but after he found out the truth they gotten closer and even called each other brothers ^^

I'm spotting the same actor who has been in so many dramas with xukai, court lady, royal feast and this drama. If I'm not mistaken he's also in she and her perfect husband. They must be from the same studio. His character is a really good brother to wushuang. I thought wushuang being the first to propose marriage is really cool, who said it has to be the guy to propose marriage ^^

I really like the variety in costumes and hairstyles for the whole casts. Also let support your faves by supporting this drama without putting down any of the casts . Looking forward to when this drama finally air, I'm so excited knowing xukai is playing two roles ^^
