Is that so, is that why he shoots so many historical dramas. I like historical dramas, but he should shoot some modern dramas too for variety. Hope the new rumor of a modern drama of his with tan songyun is true ^^

I guess so, although I think in his early 20s, he didn't have a choice on the dramas he in when he first got main roles. Now that he does, I hope to see him play a student at least once. It kind of funny to me xukai has an old soul even though he's still so young, he is thinking he's too old for certain genre ^^

It doesn't hurt to play it either. It's good to play many different roles to get more experience. What he's doing now is focus on picking the right scripts and playing many genres. He hasn't done many modern drama, so it would be nice to see him play a student at least once with his youthful look, he would even pass for a high school student ^^

It's a good idea to watch ep 14, you shouldn't skip any ep. Wuhuan and muguang gotten married and became emperor and empress of the heavenly realm. Both of them and gujun are the only gods in the heavenly realm, so they have the highest standing, gujun is equal in rank compare to wuhuan and muguang. Zhiyang is not a demon lord, he's stuck in the god realm until much later when shanggu goes back to the god realm. Tian qi is a demon god and in order to save shanggu he betrayed the god realm and would've destroyed the three realms but he was stop by baijue. Baijue didn't kill him though, he'll show up later o

I want to see xukai in a school setting drama. His look fits being a college or even a high school student ^^

Not a waste exactly. He was able to played with all the veteran actors and actresses and learning from them. He did a really good job in this role matching well with them, as well as getting more experience for his next projects.

Because lots of viewers in love with this show. Nowaday I seen dramas with pretty high rating like a 9.0 or a 8.9 , this rating is not that high.

A drama is more than just outer appearances. Ancient love poetry is ones of my top favorite dramas of xukai. It's your choice if you decide it's not to your taste, but I think only watching 2 eps is to early to judge a show.

It must've been a blow knowing his careful planning was ruined because yunqi refuses to become a heaven official.
