You are entitled to your opinion, but for me does not sit right. She only did it to save FY and has tried to escape, she was kidnapped there is no excusing that. FY was kidnapped too again there is no excusing that. Those ministers don’t even care about MX or FY, as soon as he was married they were ready for him to marry someone else. Your post for me is really victim blaming. They were held against their will. It doesn’t matter what you think about the person’s character who is a victim they are still a victim in this. I am not even defending any male in my post, the girls would be better off on their own.

I know a lot are rooting for CWD and MX together but the more I watch them, it's more Stockholm syndrome than love. I really can't get over the fact he kidnapped her. FY and WJG no love chemistry, I get more siblings vibe, they will probably force something but not enough episodes for this. I prefer for both girls to just end up single. All the men can just fight on their own and leave them out of it.
Even if CWD dies saving MX, I don't mind he brought her into this mess.

I just liked seeing FY not oblivious for a change and speaking up. As for the siege. I am so confused with this politics if the Emperor didn’t order CWD to be there, he will still be seen as a traitor if he doesn’t clear his name and the siege will have to happen so the Emperor can have the city back, they didn’t send all those men to just camp out there. I really wonder what CWD’s plan is to clear his name and those guys say they are using him as a pawn too.

So true. She still reminds me of Niao Niao from LLTG, she was lucky to have the Empress take her under her wing and guide her. MX hasn’t had that.

We haven’t seen CWD’s actual story. We didnt see what he was at 17 to see what his moral compass was. But even at this age he has kidnapped 2 young girls and tried to marry someone’s wife who he is supposed to be on the same side with. He is also all those things you accused MX of. Again like MX he is using all these means with a hope to help people. How does kidnapping MX help people though that is selfish, even the people who he is supposed to be on the same side with want to kill her. Let the her go and woo her properly . All MX is trying to do is survive and I hope she does she deserves to after all these hardships

Lol... true. The writer was never going to give MX a chance to say it lol...She was unsure about telling FY, she thought it would hurt her. I mean imagine deliverying the news, just when the engagement had been broken even if you know him or not it's still a type of rejection and hurts. The nunnery was suggested, she was upset but didn't stop him. The next scene was him getting up to tell parents and FY, then that's exactly when the edict arrived when he got up to say and suggest that.

She tried to tell FY at the restaurant and WY threatened her and FY also misunderstood and walked out angrily.
She didn’t tell FY at the beginning because FY is so proper no way would she help a fugitive especially when her family was sucking up to CWD at that time. Then when he came back after they took over the city again, he broke the engagement and FY was actually sad, so she didn’t have the courage to tell her. Then after they thought he had died and then the Wu family forced them to a corner. She is selfless she would have carried on not being with WGJ if FY hadn’t found out, she only let FY know when she publicly announced it, to save her from CWD. Both times she has sacrificed herself for FY.

With WJG she tried to tell FY and was interrupted when she had the courage to say. Then the edict came in, the odds were always stacked against them thanks to the Wu fam . Ultimately she has always put FY first. With CWD it was saving FY. She is not perfect like all the characters but she is also not a bad person.

It’s true I agree, you don’t have to like her. I disagree in that she is not loyal she is loyal. And she has helped all 3 on different occasions. She never does anything for personal gain. Her methods may not be seen as pure but she does actually do something and not wait around to be rescued or get out of a tricky situation and helps others too, with the skills she has. I generally like FLs like that.

She thought WJG had died. And all the lies were not for betrayal but to save FY. She has also apologized to FY. Who understood. Betrayal is usually for personal gain she has not gained anything, all she did was for FY. And in the last episode thanks to WY she misunderstood, WJG was holding FY’s hand yet he thought it was hers. She thought he abandoned her. Her feelings are so understandable. A 17yr old jealous feeling lied too.

She hasn’t betrayed FY or WGJ. Or even CWD because she is trying to escape, he does not deserve her loyalty, he kidnapped her. In fact CWD sees how loyal she is when they talk about FY in one of the episodes and he asks . If he protects her like FY did can she stay with him.

She didn't blackmail him for an engagement, she tore it up at her mum's grave. It wasn't only meant for that not to enforce. Why should she really fall for CWD straight away, the guy kidnapped her and keeping her against her will. He is being used as a pawn and actions make him look like a traitor. He needs to wake up and clear his name.
