Oh I know what you means about the romance ! For such a long time I thought the romance was not a good thing except if you wanted a lot of cheesy moments because it's often exaggerated (especially with love triangle or more) and I was really sick of it but OCN proved to me the romance can be so good if it well done. OCN's romance is really light but warm; innocent but mature at the same time ? Anyway it's well balanced and it doesn't get in the way of the story so thanks OCN

So true ! I don't remember how many time I found a TVN's dramas good but then the drama just becomes tasteless ?

Oh sorry, my mistake ^^' English is not my mother tongue so I thought " romance-free" was meaning " a lot of romance "

Then you should totally try it when it's out !! Most of the time romance in OCN's dramas are very light and even me who rarely crave for romance (because yes there are a LOT of dramas about romance and I'm really sick about it sometimes), I like the light romance in OCN's dramas !

Another recommandation : The Guest ( no romance at all) or Confession ? It depends on what you like ?

Oh if you want a non-stress drama to watch then you shouldn't watch OCN's dramas I think because OCN is about horror/supernatural Thriller stuffs (and it's so good).

I can advise you Devilish Joy (a lot of romance and sweet moments), Touch your heart (really sweet too) or I am not a robot if you hadn't seen it yet ??

Hum Not really in my opinion. There are a lot of heavy topics (about work of course), more than Chief Kim and Fiery Priest but true often it's well balanced with comedy and enjoyable characters. But how should I put it ? Not the same vibes. To me Chief Kim and The fiery Priest seemed more " light " and more on the entertaining side when Special Labor Inspector Jo wants to share a message.

It wasn't really in my taste in the first episodes, the vibes was a bit new to me, but now I think it's the gem of the moment and there are really surprising characters evolutions. Characters interact with their own point of view so it's interesting especially between inspector Jo and Do Ha ! It's not just a show for entertainment and that's why I like it.

I think the timing was lost... In my opinion it's good when the secret (especially when it's secret identity) is revealed around half episodes ? One reason to add to the list why I prefer OCN's dramas ^^

I mean it's funny/ entertaining when a character had a secret but if he keeps it for too long it become draggy and boring at some point ( in my opinion) and the characters who can't find out the truth just look dumb.

I think too Hoo Ja will spill out the beans to get her revenge !

edit : I would like to see Jun Kook reveals to her that he is a conman... Always people find the truth by themselves it's boring. + He had many opportunities and I don't remember a drama did this once ( I mean someone who has a secret and decided to tell the truth)...

Perhaps OCN likes just open ending ? It's a shame if it's the case...

Same about Life On Mars... But I think The guest would been more interesting ? Except if the season two of Life on Mars doesn't follow the british version (I think there is a lot of potential so it's a shame if they just follow the same path).

The horror " I will make you jump bitch" is not in the Guest (Except perhaps the first episode ??). It's personally what I hate, not the horror things finally but more the thing who appeared suddently and make you jump I HATE IT ! (Except if you watch with a bunch of friends for fun)

Otherwise, yeah of course there are a lot of blood and violence.

:In the guest too there was no romance, thanks writers-nim/god(s) you finally think about those who don't care about romance and want some serious plot ! (I don't hate romance but most of the time when it's not ruining the story, it's just seriously boring.)

I am mainly talking about DH's memories which was finally useless except for the emotional moments. I think it would have been more meaningful if it was DH who found the audio recording whith the prosecutor's memories for example... It's not a supernatural drama, I know, but after seeing the first hald I really thought it would been more useful !
Same about Madame Jin (and perhaps Yoo Ri ? ) who I thought would come to testify at some moment ? I don't say their characters were useless, they were useful but I had the impression they were not one of the main role sometimes...
And finally one of the big bad guy who killed himself ( or was he killed ? I didn't understand this part) was a bit convinient writer-nim.

The only thing I'm a bit dissapointed ( But I think it's the problem of a lot of dramas ) is the first half was really dynamic and gave something interesting to look forward to-check [spoi]l if you want to understand what I am talking about- when the second half seemed slow and don't use what the first half had built sometimes.

Average and annoying FL in " Man to Man" ? I just want to see it because I don't believe she can be like that haha (well sometimes it's not the actor/Actress but the character who is poorly written)

Did you see Tunnel ? He plays a cop and he is so funny with his co-worker Min Ah. In Mr.Sunshine I don't remember who he was playing but I remember I saw him in it.

Penel : She is perfect playing Park Hoo Ja (and she was great too in Mr.Sunshines). I was surprised when I saw some comments about how her way of acting doesn't feel natural ?? Perhaps I'm an easy watcher but I think she acts well.
