His lack of a personality can't be blamed on the country bumpkin aspect, as his sister is overly vivacious. Clearly, his mother is very emotionally manipulative and treats him like his life is only worthwhile to get his family's needs met, but come on! His character being so weak makes me dislike the other character who's supposed drawn to him. Why is he drawn to him!? Is it because he'd a limp doormat? Ugh.

I agree. This could have been 8 episodes-- maybe 10. 12 is far too many. Episodes 8 & 9 could easily have been trimmed down to one episode. Same with 6 & 7.

Nope. Just no. Episode 4 depicted a level of patheticness in a character I cannot willingly stomach. I started skipping and fast-forwarding scenes, just to get the episode over with as fast as possible, which is a very bad sign. I am dropping this series with the same level of decisiveness as the ever-present down-turned mouth of the main character.

Yes, people like me see things through rose-tinted glasses. I am optimistic and naive and I only see the best in life and people; somehow, I am also uptight while being pansexual and accepting of most sexual practices that would make the vast majority of people blush bright scarlet red just hearing about them, much less attempting to practice them. I have been sheltered from the rigors of life and I have never experienced anything that would make others piss themselves or cry themselves to sleep in devastation.

I do appreciate that Little Jane found Big Jane disturbing for that type of reasoning. That was the moment when Little Jane knew that Big Jane was no good, no matter how handsome or how he tried to convince Little Jane.

Big Jane's behaviors, especially when Little Jane isn't looking directly at him or isn't in his presence, points to someone who is problematic. I keep remembering how he stared at Little Jane with frustration and anger during their Valentine's meal, when Little Jane didn't want to spend the night with him. That's not someone who reads as trustworthy nor emotionally healthy. He also keeps pushing Little Jane's boundaries and is constantly love bombing him and gaslighting him.

I'm enjoying the Big Jane character, but never for a second do I perceive him as anything other than unhealthy and dangerous, and while it would ruin the drama, I would prefer for Little Jane to stay at least a hundred feet away from him at all times.

The viewers who are blaming Little Jane for his very understandable behavior in this story are worrisome. I keep thinking, 'These people have very weak boundaries and the survival instincts of mollusks. Hopefully, they're simply too young and inexperienced to know better.'

Externals at 3:57 and 12:51 were the same. The one at 24:27 is different. Whether they're the same shots, used repetitively or not, is not relevant. The fact that they ARE being used is the point of contention.

Just to be clear: I may be annoyed by the use of AI when other means could be employed, but I pick my battles; because, this is South Korea we're talking about. Almost every single actor on the screen has had plastic surgery procedures, as this is the norm in the industry (it's the same in many countries, by the way, not just South Korea-- they get a lot of flack, but the U.S., China, and Thailand are just as bad). It seems silly, at this point, to take umbrage with AI generated scenes when we're already appreciating engineered human faces.

The same AI slop images are all over Chinese dramas and I've been seeing them in Thai dramas. I don't watch a lot of U.S., European, African, and Latin American dramas, but I'm sure this is a practice that's being implemented worldwide.

Our opinions may differ on the funding strategy, but we're in full accord on our love for these types of dramas; so, win-win!

I don't blame those production companies for doing what they determine is necessary, but I'm not going to pretend I like seeing blatant advertisements for products I wouldn't touch in a million years. I, personally, abhor the tactic, and it's a significant part of my motivation for moving away from watching Thai media. I return to watch the series that primarily avoid this marketing gimmick. Bonus: the productions that keep that marketing gimmick to a bare minimum, also usually have better production quality, overall. Better acting, directing, writing, cinematography, and score. I'll take limited high quality productions over cheaply produced quantity every single time.

It's great that there are some series available on YouTube for those who want to be able to enjoy the genre. I don't watch series on YouTube because I know they're going to have a product placement moment shoehorned in what seems to be every 10 - 15 minutes. Boooooo!

I am relieved to not see a product placement every other scene, as those moments always cheapen the series for me. It's a very gimmicky and unprofessional marketing tactic. Seeing Thai series move away from that ploy is a good sign of their film industry's rapid maturity.

During that bathroom confrontation with Big Jane, I actually found myself saying out loud, "Run, idiot!!" Honestly, Little Jane has the survival instincts of a mollusk. 😅😅😅

Agreed! I'm female with a very dominant personality-- most males steer clear of me. The minute I would spot Big Jane, I'd turn the other way and never look back. Little Jane has very weak survival instincts. 😊

I wasn't implying that Sky's character would have a sexual/romantic relationship with the Phakin character. Yes, this is a BL series, but would you agree that there are other types of relationships for two characters to have? Mentor (concerned elder professional looking out for a younger one who's struggling), friend, etc . Phakin could even turn out to a creep who still leads Sky out of the mental prison he's trapped in. Whichever is fine, as long as they don't settle on the simplistic (and unrealistic) one that was depicted in the manhwa. At least, that's my preference.

Also, the sound of a voice that's muffled by and obstructed by a furry costume is distinctly different from a voice that's unimpeded. Sun didn't sound like the pink bunny stranger until he was back under a mascot headpiece.

Enough has been shifted around in the story from manhwa to screen, one can't be sure how they're going to resolve Sky's issue. I, for one, would prefer a change from how the manhwa did it.
