I have no words. Just dat no1 can replace u but maybe i'll spend some time with Airy!! Messed up story telling.…
Ha! You're about as much in the minority as it's possible to be. This sequel has been a success in every way that matters: fans, critics and $$$. You're just another one of those angry, bitter people who mistake resentment and anger for strong moral values. Forgiveness and redemption are where it's at for loving people.
what is so mature about tolerating and defending cheating, what kind of dumbass stance is that?
What is mature is FORGIVING and allowing for REDEMPTION because all humans make mistakes, sometimes very bad ones, but that doesn't mean they have to suffer the rest of their lives for it.Somehow I doubt you're capable of the perfection you seem to demand of others.
I rate TT at least an 8.5. Got a problem with that? lol I don't care. Who exactly got raped, except for the kid whose violation was entirely off-camera?
It's interesting. There is another commenter here who adores 1000 Stars too. I respect his opinion very much but to me that show is like a community theatre production next to ITSAY and IPYTM. Oh well. Different strokes...
If I get this right, Jai knew and was aware of whatever he was doing and kept this up because of his play?!? Don’t…
Consider that maybe you don't HAVE to feel this way or that way about it, just feel what you feel, and if confusion or contradictory emotions are included, hey that's fine, whatever. I feel like IPYTM tore me in pieces and then put me back together in a new way at the end. That's high praise.
Alot of people I see think that the ending is not realistic but it is they both have grown up from what happened…
Bravo! Well said. I gave it a 9.5. I'll have to check if I can make it a 9.75. Just because I don't believe there is anything humankind has made that is entirely completely without flaw and could not in some way have been improved. We aren't gods who can make anything perfect. But that's just me, you do you and I applaud your 10 rating. :D
Bas will hurt for a while again, but he will be OK. I think he will always have a soft spot for Oh but he also will have the pick of whomever else he may meet. He is a gorgeous human, inside and out.. So selfless and kind. Rare.
Beautifully done! I think this as just as good as ITSAY for me, and I am much happier with a setting outside of…
Beautifully said, as always, Sol. I think this one is as good as ITSAY too. I know it stressed me out MORE than ITSAY, but that's because it totally sucked me in and I care so deeply about Oh and Teh. The stress also came from the fact that I NEVER stopped wanting them to end up together, and I was horrified to acknowledge that it was very much a possibility that they wouldn't. But unlike you-know-whos on this comment thread and elsewhere, I wouldn't be screaming and ranting that the show owed me the ending I wanted, threatening to burn down actors' houses and harass the director, etc. I would cry my brains out and accept what the drama gave me. Imagine that.
Seriously, I wept almost continuously during this episode and then lost it during the beach scene at the end. The writing was SO impressive. I was anticipating and hanging on every word. Both characters would say one thing and my heart would start to shatter, but then....they'd add something else and hope would rise once again, then down then up, bastards kept me guessing right until the end. As it should be. I LOVED the photo Teh put up on social media of the two of them with "I do!" as the caption. Did you notice Oh in the background looking a little iffy about things? lol That made me laugh.
Oh this was just beautiful. I'm thankful the writers/director didn't feel they had to slam us with a sad ending in the name or artsiness and because "life doesn't always end happily" and such horseshit. As if we BL folks haven't suffered enough at the hands of sadistic writers and directors. lol
Both characters grew and changed...a lot. And they realized and admitted to each other that after it all...they STILL loved each other. The scene where Oh read through all the texts from Teh that he had received but never read was so emotional...they were full of the remorse and admission of responsibility Oh had needed for so long to hear/read. Of course I cried. I don't have a Teddy Bear so I cuddled my roll of paper towels that I snort and blow my nose into during IPYTM episodes.
Finally....... IPYTM came to pass. I enjoyed the ride with BK & PP. Onward BK will concentrate more on his singing…
I can't imagine BL watchers who want only "fluff" would come anywhere near either of these two masterpieces. They can go watch SOTUS, SOTUS S and similar garbage.
oh is too good for someone who is constantly disappointing himi just-
Here we go again...yes, Oh is a saint. And Teh has no right to grow and change and become worthy of Oh, he just has to crawl away and die in an alleyway somewhere. Thank goodness for both of them that Oh is more forgiving and accepting than you. He said clearly he thinks of Teh every single day, wonders how he is, where he is, what he's doing, etc. After all this time, that is definitely LOVE and to continue rejecting Teh and not allowing them to share happiness again, he is hurting himself.
It was clear that Oh had other options during the time away from Teh...and he STILL loved him and wanted no one else.
Not convinced about Teh until the very end. - Jai said no to him, went back to Oh.- “No one can ever replace…
Why would Teh not date around or see other people, in at least an ATTEMPT to find some happiness, after Oh made it clear as day that they were never getting back together? Just to suffer? If you know you will never have "the one," what do you do? Jump off a bridge? Perhaps if Teh had not dated his costar he would not have realized she was very much NOT the one and that the one is still and always shall be Oh. Why wouldn't you want to see a sequel? ITSAY and IPYTM are pretty much the best two BLs ever made.
What's it called when you sort of cry low-key/softly but steadily for 50 minutes and then sob like an idiot for ten more? HEAVEN, that's what it's called.
I am so happy this beautiful series didn't think it had to present a sad ending just to prove its seriousness or something stupid like that. I am extremely grateful it ended with a positive message of hope and determination without candy-coating anything. I got the vibe that they are ready to face what comes, knowing there will be difficulties, and they will take those on as they come...together. Teh's mom is going to be so happy! :D Oh's parents don't even know he's gay, do they?
Teh's going to quit professional acting and they're going to go home and run Oh's parents resort where they can sit on the beach each evening and tell each other, "I told sunset about you today." :)
Candidate for worst BL sequel of all time. When the premise of your story includes one half of the main couple doing something THAT horrible and inexplicable to the other half, there can be no redemption. From acting, direction, sets, props, editing, you name it, this series is garbage. I was almost speechless at how awful it is.
It makes me teary to think that Keptawan who was raised in the countryside and probably hasn't had much exposure…
Please either come back here or message me directly as to what you think of My Friendship. I would love to hear you thoughts on it. I am an old man who is not embarrassed by sex either. :D I heard the director did Bromance 2, not the first, but I'm too lazy to seek it out. My god, Bromance 2 is, I think, the worst BL sequel I have ever seen, including TharnType 2 which was horrendous.
TharnType trash? You may not liked it but its not trash for sure ....plus there are plenty of good bl, maybe you…
TO YOU it is trash and that's fine. But everyone's perspective on art is entirely subjective, and because you say the sky is purple does not make it so. I will bite though: In what ways is TT "trash?" please be specific. Thanks.
They chopped the sex scenes from YouTube because of nudity policy. I don't mind tbh as when I watched it raw the…
Which is ridiculous because there IS no nudity in the film. Shoulders, feet, calves yes, nothing else. The film was so good at making us feel like we'd seen them do the nasty right in front of us when in fact it was all merely implied, that Youtube freaked out, as per usual.
I agree with you. But also, the chopped scenes due to YouTube nudity policy? Apparently YouTube bans shoulders…
So true, and entirely stupid. Youtube cut it because it was SO very well done that it felt like we had seen full-blown gay f**king when in fact we had seen very little of anything at all. Youtube is extra-super paranoid about gay sex, even when it's merely implied, not shown.
I love how simple it was for them to connect in the beginning. No questions, just pure desire. You can see that…
Why do you say Jack is transgender? I mean, maybe he is, but that's not clear to me. I took the crucial late scene to indicate that he had come to care for his partner so much that he was willing to "be" a girl for him as he still claimed to be straight. I mean, they had sex in the john for an entire school year and then full-blown sex later on. The partner would already know if Jack was trans.
