clicked out of the first ep for that stereotypical volunteer nonsense they pulled
Just started it today and I have to agree its pretty awful… At the very least, cringey… But I’m going to keep watching since I have a 3 episode rule. Hopefully they make up for it.
Ok so now I’m on episode 13 and surprisingly my rating of this show has progressively gone from a hesitant 7/10 stars up to now a 9/10 stars … There’s just something about the underlying message hidden in the writing - and particularly the dialogue. Valuing yourself, honest communication, the overtaking of classism with individual ability, etc… Something along those lines. It’s comforting and relatable.
If you’re wondering whether or not to watch it… just give it a shot! Particularly if you don’t mind a slower-paced romance. (I actually like the pacing.) The #1 thing I took away from this drama:

I was literally just thinking the same thing…. I don’t want rewatching it to ruin the way I felt about this drama the first time around! Conveniently, I’ve just about forgotten everything (except for the ending 😭) so I think I’ll give it a go…
I’m a bit of a sucker for romance so I might be biased, but so far (I’m on episode 4) I’m enjoying it… Not a particularly great storyline at this point, but the interactions between the leads are cute and the dialogue is engaging. Plus you don’t really see MLs like this often
Currently watching (on episode 8), and I admit that I did kinda have to push myself through the first 7 episodes to get to this point. It is just now becoming engaging to me and hopefully continues to do so until the end….. That being said, there still are a few charms to this drama. I would recommend at the very least checking it out for yourself. Especially since Jung Hae In is such a fabulous actor (his minute facial expressions are out of this world!), and Jisoo has actually done a commendable job as a debut actress.
I initially gave this drama a 6.5/10 but it has potential to rise!
Just finished today! Short, sweet, gave what you wanted it to give even without an extraordinary storyline. I have to admit, I was painfully entranced by their beautiful faces haha… and Park Hyun Sik has to have the cutest damn ears I’ve ever seen in my life!
I don’t mean to rain on anyone’s parade but I’m actually a bit surprised by the high rating... I’m currently watching it and will do so til the end because this show has a lot going for it, but personally I wouldn’t consider it a favorite.
Although this didn’t jump straight to the top of my list, it is definitely worth watching! My favorite part of this drama was the strong female characters, the moments that empowered them in a non-cringe way, and the hidden commentary on modern South Korean society.
Just watched for the first time! As far as modern cdramas go this show is a breath of fresh air… Towards the end there were definitely some moments that had me on the edge of my seat. I recommend this to anyone in the mood for a short but quality mystery!
Plus who am I kidding, this man is freaking beautiful!
