This drama feels wrong on so many levels, why, why, why? It was one of my 3 most anticipated dramas this summer... The writing, directing and, most of all, acting are so off, it's painful to watch. I feel so bad for Jin Yi Han and Yoo In Na, I don't think this was the right choice for them. No matter how much they try, I doubt they can save this drama.
It's messy, all over the place, instead of flowing nicely. A whole bunch of uninteresting, poorly written and executed characters that just get in the way, when they should be supporting the leads. Many holes, inconsistencies and way too many sub-plots that most likely won't go anywhere. No one behaves in a professional manner, as an employee of a top notch hotel, it feels more like a suburb boarding house or at best a flea market where everyone does whatever they feel like (yelling, arguing, kissing, throwing drunken tantrums, gossiping ...you name it, as long as it has nothing to do with work conduct and ethics). I really can't believe what I'm seeing, it's not even funny, just makes me cringe.
According to distributor CJ Entertainment, ROARING CURRENTS became the first film to ever surpass 15 million ticket sales in South Korea around 1:30PM today, August 19th. Movie accomplished the record setting feat in only its 21st day since its release.

Facepalm, facepalm, facepalm!
