Now that XQY has fallen for Yan Rui this drama will vastly improve since ZY was killing me with her stone face. she excels when she is animated and full of emotion and the suppression of that in these early episodes did not allow her to flourish. Episode 14 was a 10/10 and I can’t wait to see the story unfold between our little monkey and our jade pendant!

Because she’s giving nothing. Her facial expressions are not serving anything at this point. Hopegully that’s by design and changes but it’s pretty rough right now. Xu Kai is in love with cardboard so far.

it’s not the second episode of the day. it’s the express episode. they release two episodes together and the 3rd express episode later in the day. because you are watching express it feels like only one episode since you are an episode ahead.
