my issue with him is that he was way more deferential to the “Victim” Ziyuan and when she came out as herself, asserting herself and her families innocence, he should have had a much more SYMPATHETIC tone for all she suffered unfairly the last 10 years. He should have had the SAME sympathy for her when she was no longer the VICTIM. yes, he told the truth at court and confirmed her identity, but when they spoke after rather than effusively expressing regret and apologizing and UNDERSTANDING, he remained stoic and rather selfishly held her secrecy suddenly against her. do you not see how selfish and gross and self serving it is to be happy with her living under a false identity “as long as she’s safe” which coincidentally means your family doesn’t have to answer for anything, VERSUS complete understanding that she had to spend 10 years living this way in order to even have the chance to get justice and THAT is more important for HER happiness. it’s not about HIM.
In Todays episodes he did better and I know he will redeem himself but The Drama version of him has not done him proper justice.

Han Ye’s character in the drama turned me off big time today (Episode 25)
he was fine, even happy with her hiding her identity as long as it wasn’t part of revenge. The “Revenge” is not REMOTELY vengeful and she plotted everything strictly to seek justice at court through legitimate channels. Rather than be horrified and mortified that she has spent 10 years as a criminal wrongfully and lost her entire family, he is whining about her luring him into her plan and using him when he should be on his hands and knees begging her for forgiveness for 1. Never once doubting that the Di’s were innocent 2. His own grandmother being their murderer.
I’m so off Han Le today and feel like Ziyuan is being WAY WAY to sympathetic to both the fake one and Han Le who has no room to be mad or hurt or upset at her considering all the facts.
