A criticism about cdramas in general, not just this one.

Is anybody else fed up with the super slow approach to kissing? It's got more and more exaggerated to the point of getting ridiculous, we can almost do the laundry while they cover the distance between their heads. At that rate they won't have any children because, by the time their lips actually touch, she'll be menopausal and he'll have prostate problems.

Personally I don't find it sexy at all.

I am glad they are creating suspense through the previews and clearing everything up in the episodes without cliffhangers...couldn't have handled cliffhangers in this series

He also wouldn't have been Zhao Ling then. He's shaped by his experiences and being a Yu would've suffocated him and never allowed him to show up in such an open and earnest manner. He'd become another shade of Yu Jing Xiu

The lil smirk at the end of ep 27, i absolutely luv it.

the pine soot ink of huizhou and tung oil keep reminding me of "the heir". it feels like this drama and the heir happened at the same time.

Thats what i thought when I saw ep 26... but you will see it much more clearly how things turn out in ep 27 by clever planning...
btw the Zhaos have good support, emperor is the main one.. then Tian WanYi family and Madam Wang and Madam Mo....
