This drama is done so well, it is appropriate for any audience, not only BL, if you just tone down nc scenes and eliminate TMI vouyer scenes.. Spreading this drama widely would make BL dramas look mainstream, all the hype and stigma of "alternative" would disappear, Just some food for thought

Ep 8 has some good "new age" and "dinosaur age" stuff... Ex of SML is how women SHOULD be, so a great score for new gen!!!! And FL's dad is the dinosaur kind and it is good his wife called him on it - that rotating dishes thing was a great scene...

Then comes the total fiasco of this drama, whee FL IS MADE EVEN DUMBER .... apparently it was possible...
FL lied to ML for several days, did not answer her calls, pulled away without any explanation bc she was a coward to tell that her ex showed up... and finally ML found her with the ex, and it was enough she said to ML "oh I meant to tell you" - ML was all good and FL thought she did a great job... in other words FL is super immature and cowardly weak
but then when ML talks to his ex, FL dumps him, in utmost hypocrisy.. It didnt help that he too was an immature weak coward and lied to her. It didnt help that he said he would KEEP secrets forever That is a no-no. The epitomy of that lesson is in Home Town Cha Cha kdrama...
Instead of dumping ML, FL should talk to him and explain it, like Home Town Cha Cha FL did.

Instead, we ended up on a father-child scene, where ML says "he will always decide the best on his own without telling FL anything" and she like a whiny child prohibits him to go help an elderly dying from dementia.

Well it is year 2026 and this modern kdrama is STILL making the plot out of female stupidity. That is the sexism inherent in kdramas, one of rare faults of kdramas, but a big fault. It destroyed this drama and so many ppl dropped out.

ML is as insecure as FL. The plot drags like molasses bc both of them are just weak COWARDS. And, ML actor is highly underutilized.
It is a lot better than Beyond the Bar, where one super extra egoistical slimy coward and one subordinate coward tiptoe around each other without ever making a move

here, ML is making some moves but in such a clutzy cowardly way, he is never clear.
No, ML is ***not*** head over heels for her. If he were, he would have made a move
ML is just like a scared kid - well he is an engineering major lmao without much ability to read the room :) When a woman is angry being called little sister, that is a red flag - but not to an engineering major, who takes things literally

And FL is not as stupid as comments make her... She was stupid to quit her job after 1 min deliberation. She was smart to ditch him thinking he is leaving. She was SUPER smart when she called him as soon as she was clear to her that he likes her, she took the risk and went for it. And she pounced on him when she saw the opportunity. The engineering major needed help lmao

Overall this drama is kinda realistic, minus the perfect loyalty of ML. In real life, ppl are so scared to commit. It is just that these two are basically monastics, they are that scared. Luckily they decided to go play instead of sitting scared on the bench.

So now I am gonna watch ep 7 and 8. FL actress is more showcased here and she is pretty good, but it is frustrating that ML actor is completely underutilized. I am not enjoying watching him at all.

After reading the comments, seems like the TikTok childish vibe of this drama is that ML-FL just do NOT communicate. That cannot be blamed on anything but their own immaturity.

I went for a walk alone and I sat in a busy going out area, very crowded. As I was sitting, 3 teenage boys - maybe ...16 or so? definitely feel like high schoolers, not college students - they came and sat next to me. One skinny boy with longish hair as the "coolest" guy and kinda gang leader, one rather crude boy, and one quiet boy. Leader was smoking a cigarette and Crude was asking him for one, but Leader said only if the Quiet smokes. Quiet was refusing to and they were trying to force him.

So I had enough and I got up to leave, and on my way out, I spoke to them and said they are not cool what they are doing is not cool, and I encouraged Quiet to keep his lungs healthy and live a long life. THEY LAUGHED AT ME, the Quent boy called me names, ...

and I realized - I violated the principle of sharing a public space without interrupting the neighbors .... and I am older than the so it was ... intinidating .... and also ... Quet Boy was trying to kiss ass of Leader and Crude and earn their favor by dissing me. Also... Leader was pathetic, I was thinking = when a kid rebels like that, it means their family is rotten.... And there I was, telling them what to do. Quiet boy probably smokes after I left bc he could not allow to side with me...

I was trying to be helpful but I think I alienated them and I feel sorry for poking them
Those 3 were in rampage mode against adults and trying to stake their own territory - by smoking cigarettes - and there I was, raining on their parade... and.... If Quiet wants to kiss as@ then so be it. He will learn the hard way
