HJ was a rather honest person before he decided he wants to own JJ.... and he was genuinely a loving and caring person, but also a weak person who has never exercised his spiritual muscles, aka a spoiled person, by his evil mother.... Growing up on his own without any good role models!!!! and he still has some moral compass but is blinded by his desire..... SO WHICH SIDE WILL WIN? he goes back and forth but recently, he loaded heavily the dark side of the coin....

and the actor is really doing a great job of acting out this complex role, I am impressed. A very talented actor. He made HJ "come alive" and seem real.

So let's see how HJ will address this conflict and what he will do or not do to "weigh" more one or the other side of that coin...

Indeed he is. The script is good for him bc his lines are profound and he has some sense of self reflection, eg his conversation with his mother confronting her about the chauffeur .... What HJ said was AMAZING script.... HJ was so reflective and so honest - until he WANTED to own JJ... so he is wrestling that now

I like ep 1 as a start. I do not see this as a fighting drama, so if it goes that way, I will be disappointed. I see this as the generic issue of bad parenting. If the drama resolves that, i will consider it a masterpiece. Also it will be really fun to see Ji Sub act more than just John Wayne, Ji Sub is a cutie so it will be fun to see him as a proper father. In ep 1, he is a John Wayne strong and silent dinosaur and a parental failure.

Min Ji is so dumb, she is a stupid spoiled naive entitled little idiot, and she is danger to herself and to others bc she is just STUPID without any skills for life, without ANY COMMON SENSE. I like the drama for starters but if this situation does not significantly improve in proper ways I will call it a failed drama , In other words, if this drama goes the way of fighting and he and her staying two John Waynes, then it will be a failure.

If the drama resolves issues between parent and child and makes them a proper family unit and a good team, if both of these MORONS transform and start communicating properly and taking care of each other, then the drama will be a success imo
