Even if I wanted to watch ep 2, someone’s comment here about one of the actors really bummed me out, and I can’t let it go. It’s a shame people just write things for no reason. It’s really annoying… it just completely ruined it for me.
The problem with everyone hating on this. Is that everyone is so used to the "cutesy" BL tropes that are…
There are too many realistic romance series that don’t have the cute side, and in the past they were mostly like that. And it’s not only in gay stories; I prefer it to stay cute, because otherwise everything starts becoming gloomy and starts going downhill. Romantic films are on the verge of extinction, and the only hope we have left is Japanese romance series that still stick to idealistic ideas. Everything else has already been ruined to the point that it’s impossible to watch because it’s so “realistic.”
I’m dropping the series. I didn’t like the direction it took; it feels way too forced. It’s a shame, because the actors are cute, but it just feels very cheap, like they’re trying to force-feed the viewers trash.
In the manga, the star is Zen, and then there’s an episode, I think, that focuses on Ryo, but in the Drama it’s reversed. Also, Zen didn’t cry in the manga...
Didn't we learn that it's kinda a pun? Like, the younger ones immediately called him the same thing and we realise…
I understand you well, it’s slang. I accept that you see it in a lighter way, and I have no issue with it. In any case, there are expressions that used to be common as slang in the past, but people wouldn’t dare say today. By the way, I don’t think a 24-year-old boss would use that slang. I find it hard to believe, but if I’m wrong, then fine.
The series is cute, but the Title, and the fact that he asks to be called by that name -is a bit sick. Anyway, I’m continuing to watch because it’s cute.
There are things I wouldn’t have understood without the manga. The translations also don’t always match; some things have a different meaning from how they translate them. I feel like I’ve only just started watching the episode, and it’s already over. Why are the episodes always so short? The quick ending surprises me every time.
Good question! Do we know if the brother is older? If so, maybe that's common for inheritance there? It doesn't…
Maybe you’re right, and he also has a family, so maybe the father thought about that too, and also didn’t want his younger son to stay at home all day… to detach a bit, because he was attached to him. It’s not very clear. Maybe we’ll find out later what happened.
It feels to me like a somewhat twisted script. I mean, without subtitles it’s hard for me to understand the disgraceful behavior of the ML character, but I’m still curious to read the translation and see if maybe I’ll be able to understand him better...
Ugh, this is so sad. I feel like stopping watching it, and at the same time I keep hoping for some kind of positive progress. I didn’t understand why the father left the house to the brother and not to him. Did he basically leave him with nothing?
It’s different from the manga. But I love it.
