Gennosuke has such great chemistry with Izumi , They’re both so gorgeous that I don’t understand this casting choice at all.I just don’t connect with Konishi. I think his acting is over the top. I don’t find him attractive either, and his hairstyle annoys me. Still, the series is very cute, and it’s really fun to watch.
I had been waiting for these episodes, but episode 11 disappointed me.Where is the humor? Where is the lightness? Even the previous episode had at least some lighter moments and there was communication in parts of the earlier episodes, but suddenly even that communication is gone.
Episode 5 was wonderful again. It’s such a comforting and calm series. There’s no drama or tension; it’s simply very pleasant to watch. It has a different kind of style.
I don’t understand this series’ schedule. The countdown says one thing, and until last week it was released on Sundays, but now it’s not even coming out on Sundays anymore. What’s going on?
Storyline is mildly entertaining, but I really wish they wouldn't show these guys playing tennis. Every time they…
I actually enjoyed it precisely because I don’t know much about sports and tend to skip sport scenes , but this time I watched the whole scene and really enjoyed it. I also think they used AI, which is why the transitions and close-ups with the ball looked so sharp. But I’m sure that if I understood tennis, I might have been more critical, like you.
Ep 4 is emotional episode. Even with all the cheesiness and the childlike, colorful aesthetic, they sometimes slip in these small lines and quiet little exchanges that really move you, because you rarely hear things like that in scripts anymore. For example, when he says he wanted to cross the bridge so he could get somewhere else and be free because he was suffering so much at home, or when he says that everyone expected him to be an exemplary person, so he decided to play that role until he eventually became that person. I find that really beautiful.
I’d say these are the kinds of things that usually aren’t said in modern scripts. They used to be more common, but dialogue today often feels very stripped down and emotionally diluted.
