. Note: She is no longer in a relationship and owes no one an explanation, so for the fact that ML couldn't let go is his own fault.
2) Sympathy for ML Being Ignored Despite His Efforts:
. Your sympathy for the ML seems misplaced.
. In real life, his behavior of stalking and tailing her without her consent would potentially lead to legal action against him.
. Such actions are not only creepy but also an invasion of privacy, and this should not be normalized.
. She did not ask for his care and clearly does not want anything to do with him, this means she obviously doesn't love him enough to compromise for any reason over her dead friend
. To summarize, the real loser here is the ML, who cannot accept rejection.
. He is very incompetent in his career but overly active in his pursuit of a woman who has made it clear she wants no part of him.
. His behavior is that of a creepy stalker, making him one of the most useless MLs I've encountered in fiction.
. No girl would appreciate a loser like him, and if I were in the FL's shoes, my response might have been even harsher.

You do made some solid points though. I also disagrees with Hua zhi's Grand-Pa moral conduct against a ruling king. He was indeed recklessly-disrespectful and brought all misfortune to his family. This tragedy could have been slightly avoided with a very soft approach.
But don't forget that the tyranny-king have set his eyes already on Hua family to bring it down. So even if that grand-pa moment was avoided, the king will always creat a new opportunity to destroy the people he doesn't like. Don't tell me that something glittering is sprouting out of someone who morally killed his relatives

This is a very wired point though when there was absolutely no love triangle here.
