true!! some people doesn't like the FL's nature but i really like her persona feels more real than all innocent…
Yeah definitely had Atypical Family in mind when I commented that. Atypical Family and Will Love In Spring where to BEST dramas of 2024 for me, mainly for their nuance and FL complexity and all characters's complexity, psychological depth, deep detailed writing, especially WLIS had rich writing that made it stand out, yet both had FL brutally burned at the stake of MDL comment section with accusations of ruining the dramas!!! π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ (&Love Next Door maybe later will join best dramas maybe?depends on how plot develops).
Also the drama Mad For Each which has a FL with mental issues (Paranoid Personality Disorder), a fresh & bold psychological healing drama, clearly stated that what she had, yet people kept hating on her for being paranoid and doubting the ML, even though that is LITERALLY her disorder!!! Metaphorically drink a bitter lemon juice drink, get upset over its bitterness even though you yourself decided to order and drink the bitter lemon drink. "Omg lemon tastes like LEMON!" Shocked face! π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ π π
I love the slice of life vibes in this drama! π
Usually I find kdrama romCOMs shallow and childish and romance is hyper-unrealistic and plain dumb, so prefer Romance-MELO in general.
This is one of the rare actually good kdrama Romcoms! π And the slower pacing is suitable and makes for a better developed couple and characters in the end.
and even when the leads here are acting childish it's handled with depth (the childish lashout due to supressed feelings for so long and uncousnous resentment if you pay attention) and makes sense too given their childhood memories, compared to many kdrama romcoms where they make adult leads in 20s, 30s or sometimes even 40s act childish for NO REASON.π
I know some people donβt like the slow pace of this show, but I think itβs nice. So long as they do right…
TikTok brained people who only watched the 2020s dramas and never even saw the pace of 2010s or early 00s dramas, this is normal old school pacing for Millenials and not for Gen Z ruined by TikTok attention span. π π€¦ββοΈ
At first I thought the SFL was an annoying girl friend and too tomboyish too but I quite like her now. SML has…
I'll be highly pleasantly surpised if the drama actually acknowledges ADHD (maybe he has a childhood diagnosis, that's why the parents go easy on him. However there's a difference between going easy and enabling toxic parts of ADHDπ π€¦ββοΈ) + the Millenial&GenZ pressures to monetize all hobbies because job market is trash. This pressure is extra toxic to ADHD people whose hobbies last 5 minutes lmao π

Oh I forgot about thrm. π Indeed briefly there for a scene it looked like they might develop them into a couple.
I worry about how realistic they'll make the brother's developemnt though, the pretty clearly has undiagnosed ADHD (saying this as a ADHD person), he's yet to realize he needs to pick a career with plenty variation + keep his fleeting interests as HOBBIES only that won't matter if he keeps dropping, instead of jumping from job to job or depending on temporarry interest for money. π
But korea hates acknowlwdging mental problems, they'll probably pull some ableist bulls*** or dumb unrelaistic growth that make no sense rather than saying ADHD aloud.π π€¦ββοΈ

Thanks! π
Edit: Well that clip is confusing! FL illness + the ex situation happened at end of last ep, yet these two sre just happily casually easting as if nothing dramatic is going on??? π€π
Looks like I will never stop disliking most MDListers, most of you are beyond dumb, shallow, hate on dramas you don't even watch and prefer shallow cliche plots and hate any melodrama, are weak so can only stand comedy and hate on even good shows out of jealousy. π€¦ββοΈ
The way people on this site are hyper-irritable over dramatic turns yet are perfectly fine with the most unrealstic romcoms with unatural cliche concinidence scenes & unaturally quick romance development, need to be studied...
Can people who obviously didn't EVEN WATCH THE EP, and just saw clips on Tiktok/Youtube/IG/X STOP HAVING AN OPINION ON SOMETHING THEY DIDN'T EVEN WATCH!?! OMG!! π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
So am I the only one more annoyed with her ex than with the illness plot??? π
He's not even handsome or charming, couldn't agree at all with ML's ex praise for him π
This should still pull off a happy ending w cured FL, unless they TOTALLY lied and it's not just melo added to a romcom but it's just melo π , to me it it seems illness is just a plot to get her family to stop being annoying&controlling!
...right now WAY more annoyed that she (kind of )chose ex over ML!

There is such a thing a journalistic integrity and avoiding click-bait, totally lost of MDL "writers"
They really prefer shallow onedimensional cookie-cutter perfect mary sues who ARE BORING π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
