It's actually really refreshing to see Jung Hae In potray a character who can act childish (when next to FL), his previous characters were all the calm, mature, understanding type in various ways. Here the ML doesn't know what to do with his feelings, so he kept picking fights childishsly with FL lol, it's really odd watching JHI act this way. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚

I think the problem is that you guys donโ€™t understand the difference between someone commenting ABOUT the series…
I remember people mentioning somehwere (sorry I forgot where!) on MDL that an Incel Community on Telegram app recently purposefully joined MDL to harass people, and it explains so much! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

....keep in Mind Telegram has rcently been in headlines for creepy groupchats where they share pics of naked women/butts etc. without without them knowing๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ

.....MDL got infected by CREEPS ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ

Agreed. It just means Park Shin Hye herself is a respectable person, and not one of those ridiculous extremist christians pushing religion on others or offended by evrything. Sounds like she ACTUALLY follows the teachings of the religion that teaches respecting others, unlike honestly most christians lol ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

MDL - that odd place where people are ALLERGIC to dramas not being full of positive vibes only โœจ and angrered INSTANTLY over ANY melodrama,

....yet the users themselves are FULL OF TOXIC NEGATIVITY ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Maybe if you didn't NONSTOP WALLOW in your own toxic negativity over here, you wouldn't need to ESCAPE REALITY TO HAPPY POSITIVE LAND, and you could ACTUALLY Tolerate some dramatic turns in fiction. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

MDListers are terribly miserable and weak they fall apart over FICTIONAL drama, it's no wonder they can't tolerate reality and spam MDL with nonsense comments ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

His ex is lovely and mature, a breath of fresh air! (it also helps that she's played by the very lovely Seo Ji Hye!)

Her ex not so much. ๐Ÿ˜… He needs to just go away.

I am interested in knowing why she picked this kind of role considering her Christian background. There must have…
The actor who played The literal Devil on the american tv series Lucifer comes from a christian family with literal priest family members, he said they supported & even encouraged him to take on the role.

It's ACTING. Religion of the actor is IRRELEVANT to the role, unless the actor is a religious extremist who cannot see the difference between fiction/acting a role and reality. ๐Ÿ˜…

MyDramaList might aswell rename itself
MyStupidsList.com, cause that's the MAJORITY of MDL comments now ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™„

....MDL always was bad, but it still had some GOOD comment sections too, it never was THIS bad.

....It's like if MDL used AI & analytics to seek out & send personal invites to the most stupid people on the internet to come make accounts here in 2024 or something.... ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

Haein and Somin really compliments each other a lot. Just by merely watching their interviews or clips of their…
Indeed I was taken by surprise in Love Next Door interviews, previously with costars he'd come across as this super polite gentlemanly guy, I was surprised to see how PLAYFUL he actually is ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

I'm curious. Haein doesn't believe in friendship between man and woman?
That really surprised me too as his fan! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Considering too that he seems quite close & comfortable with all his female costars and even freely follows actresses like Han Ji Min, Chun Woo Hee (& now Jung So Min) on Instagram. ๐Ÿ˜… But he Aqcuitance-zoned them all in that interview. Guess that means, he prefers to not be TOO CLOSE with women, because he doesn't believe men&women can be too close without romance... ๐Ÿ˜…????

In contrast, ML is VERY in touch with his feelings and wants ever since young.

He pursued his dream of being a swimmer, could no longer do that, found a new dream of being an architect and is pursuing that happily.

People arguing before if FL also had feelings before.

But I think (after watching ep6 now):
FL has clearly been shown TOTALLY OUT OF TOUCH WITH HER FEELINGS.
And not just about any feelings for ML, ALL HER FEELINGS ABOUT ANYTHING.

She spent her youth performing perfectionism, getting praises with ZERO clues about how she feels about anything or what SHE ACTUALLY WANTS.
She never ONCE even thought about what DREAMS she actually has, Until now in her 30s, ONLY AFTER BURNING OUT lol ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

Safe to say, she's the type to be totally out of touch with her feelings.

This means she might have indeed unconsciously liked him, but how would she know, or how can we the viewers know for sure about a character so fundamentally out of touch with her overall feelings and wants. ๐Ÿ˜…

....Only now she is discovering her actual dream. This will also eventually lead her to discovering her feelings for ML. Character growth.

The chemistry between the leads seem so natural both off and on screen, love when casting directors work their…
The actors are HOLDING BACK the chem, JUST LIKE THEIR CHARACTERS are holding back, on purpose, it's clearly a PURPPOSEFUL ACTING CHOICE by them; if you contrast this when they actually LET the chemistry show aka. for example that pool scene when he was holding her up in the water & staring at each other.

I think these clueless people claming "no chemistry" just don't understand the complexities of FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN OPPOSITE SEXES TURNING INTO MORE THAN FRIENDS, And just see chemistry as this NonStop Fire IN EVERY SCENE with NO HOLDING BACK LMAO ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€

WHY WHY WHY would the characters fully embrace their chem/feelings, the actors are quite well showing a DENIAL/HOLDING BACK.

...The moments they STOP HOLDING BACK, notice the EXPLOSION OF CHEM!!!? ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐโœจโœจ

Ep6: The 2FL is smart smart for pretending not to know about ML feelings and letting the leads themeslves solve it, it would be more awkward to FL learn from 2FL and not from ML himself I think, but it's also frustrating!

The PDnim is really good! Some scenes are MADE GREAT mostly by the directing!

The second ML walks in on FL making a ceramic vase & starts staring, then his ex. flirting/holding his hands - chills moment,

The camera angles of FL & ML arguing nd SUDDENLY his ex. is back holding him MID THEIR ARGUMENT--truly the suddeness and the angle made the moment! I don't think that scene would've been as impactful had they shown the ex actually walk in before.

When ML is talking about his feelings for FL to 2ML, and suddenly 2FL shown spying, made better and funnier by the VERY SUDDEN revelation of 2FL shamelessly spying, and the way she was sitting on the ground just chilling at that moment made it funnier lol
