Oh shush. "Mainly done by actors who can't act" is such a fucking lie. A few actors in 2024 dramas who had shirtless scenes: Gong Yoo, Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, Na In-woo, Jang Ki-young, Kim Young-dae, Byeon Woo-seok. They can't act, right?

Just say you need a random reason to hate on Song Kang and keep the bs moving.

That slap was super satisfying. While I Mao is naïve and three years of dating a selfish jerk might have affected her self-esteem, she's not a doormat and soon as the blinkers are off you immediately see her in ownership of herself.

You don't need to be "smart" to be a corporate raider though. Just need a shitload of money, the right people on your payroll and no morals. She has other people doing the dirty work. Her secretary for one.

His insecurity and low self-esteem mean he sees getting her back as some kind of "win". Atp it feels like some of his motivation for the revenge is tied to having her. There is no strategy there. Just vibes and whatever toxic thing they have going on.

I tried. I really wanted to like this but there were too many annoying plot devices. The interruptions for one. How many phone calls can happen when you're about to kiss or say something important? And the petty misunderstandings every five seconds? Nobody saying what they want/need to say when it should be said, over and over and over and over. I especially dislike the trope of chasing after someone who has made it clear they have no interest in you (the niece and prof plot). It's pathetic and unwatchable for me.

The main leads have great chemistry and if there was a cut of just their scenes, I'd power through it. Maybe if they did something else together with a stronger love story I'd watch it.

I'm at episode 23 and I think I'll bow out. None of the truly horrible characters are going to be properly punished anyway. Redemption for all. Especially the Chairman who is a nasty piece of work and does not deserve either of his sons.

This started out super cute. They almost ruined it with the dad. He could have disapproved of the relationship just based on Teerak being too young and inexperienced and it would have worked. The loving dad becoming a monster overnight and then morphing back into a loving father felt like they needed to force conflict and went the easy route. The sex scene in the final ep was also unnecessary imo. The intimacy coach, if they had one did a piss-poor job.

Butttttt, the cuteness and fluff saved the day.

That Princess character did not serve the plot of this drama in any way. Her actions did not influence any other character or event in the story. Qimin's heart was Qiluo's from beginning to end.

In all, a good watch. Some things could have been better handled. That king should have died but that's just me. I hated him.

Oh I get it. But trauma of that kind does not disappear overnight just because your lover helps you with one step of the recovery process. The dream was entertaining though. Very magical.

Before Yotha said anything that kiss already looked different. Very "I want to take off your clothes." Super satisfied with the resolution of their relationship. Even though I don't believe love is a cure for trauma I'm going to ignore it because Gun and Yotha are so cute together.

Was not particularly interested in the crumbs of the other couples. But I love seeing Faifa. He's such a well-written and funny character and I hope that continues into his story.

Of course. But everyone watching the drama will recognise it for the mistake it is. Nobody would have seen that in this cs and thought they were talking about the real province. That "Be careful" just sounded odd to me.

I'm at ep 24 and I'm this close to dropping this drama because of the stupid princess plotline. Wtf did the writers expect her to elicit from viewers? There is no positive reason for her reason for her to be so obsessed with Qi Min (I hate how she continues to call him that other version). She wants to own him like he's a toy. This is supposed to be romantic. The only acceptable ending for me is that she dies and her death serves to save the life of others. Else the character is a waste of space. I dislike violence but I need someone to smack her hard.

Be careful of what? Someone makes an honest mistake. You correct them, which is quite nice. I'm just curious what the warning is for.

I'm sorry, Jack and Joker has cleverness and sophistication? This goes to show "to everyone their own" because I dropped Jack and Joker for the same reason. Yin and War (I adore them) did some heavy lifting but nothing about the plot was clever. It was a bloody cringefest. Vexed me to no end cos I'd been looking forward to it.

Call it slow-burn, filler, a waste of time, this is ep cute af and I'll watch it at 0.5x speed if I could.

As for the girlfriend acting oblivious and the boyfriend refusing to clearly address the issues, I don't know mehn. Feels extra immature on both sides.
