I don't think I have liked a BL character as much as I like North. He's adorable. It's nice to see a cute character without a dark backstory. He's silly and open and perfect for Johan.
Holy Shit this theory make sense, that's why Grandmother saw her younger self directly said to younger self she…
Yes. And there is no "Emily". It was her sister all along who became younger (hence the female hormones in her drugs and the resemblance to the young O Mal-soon) and somehow meets Daniel and comes back to Korea, likely to look for her family, but time runs out and she reverts to old age which is why she disappears from the company. I'm curious to know what the price of the youth is though. In the "twin's" case she seems to have made a deal with the taxi driver but O Mal soon was made young against her will.
I'm having so much fun with this. One second I'm getting exasperated with O Du Ri, the next she does something so unhinged I'm laughing my head off. She is a little OTT but that's because it's an old woman in a young body. It has to be OTT and the actress is killing the role.
When you have spent decades being someone and living by your own rules, especially when you've had to struggle a lot to get to where you are, change is tough. While it'll be nice to see Du Ri blend in a little more, I don't see that happening for a few more episodes or even until the end.
My theory, O Mal Soon is a twin and the older version we see is her sister and the mother of her daughter. She "adopted" her when the real mother ran off. So the whole keep her away from the father business is likely not her fault 'cos she didn't know who the father was.
As for Daniel's stalker, I don't have any theories but I hope the person is revealed soon and they die a horrible death.
I didn't like that they suddenly all found the light shop. If it was that easy, why didn't they find it sooner?…
The only person the bus driver took to the light shop who didn't have a clear idea what was going on was the high school student and he didn't tell him what exactly it meant. Just to find a light. The mum and the girlfriend already knew they were dead. The young girl figured it out when he spoke to her and refused to go. Who else is in "most of them"?
We saw what happened when the loved ones told them (or when they realised) what getting their lights meant. The young girl refused to take the light her mum brought, the gf broke her light and the bf had to be coerced via a promise.
Plot? What plot? I'm watching for Johan's smile. Used to watch for Hill's voice but too much of a good thing is bad and they've dragged the HillTer thing so much it's become boring.
But JohanNorth? Cannot get enough of them. North is so uncomplicated and perfect for Johan. Plus he's kinda bad with money management and Johan's bringing sugar daddy energy. I love the dynamic so much. Did I say how hot Johan is?
The whole Nurse On thing could have been better handled (police won't allow a civilian get involved in the investigation of a murder suspect). That aside, a 10/10 episode. That morning-after scene was so cute and wholesome. Gave me enough butterflies to fill a bucket. Plus I'm a fan of knowing who the bad guy is early on in a drama 'cos it means the writers are about to write their asses off.
Was watching Bae Doona on a different show and she talked about how she prefers less makeup while acting but wears full face for variety shows or when modelling. It reminded me of this MDL article and some of the nasty ass comments I read when it was posted.
There is nothing she said in the interview this article quoted that warrants some of these replies. You people want to be mad about everything and find the most extreme negative stance on celebs' lives. It's fucking sad.
Well I think we should be optimistic and understand her as an older sibling.Yk one of the plot of the story is…
I didn't respond to your comment though. Like I saw your comments and decided to add my two cents to someone I agree with. It was a deliberate decision. Cheers.

As someone watching the drama, it is annoying when Babe shows up to interfere. But you can also see that Rak is very dependent on her and they have that kind of relationship. You don't see Rak getting mad at her for interfering. Also this is supposed to be a fake relationship. Can't blame her for wanting to make sure they don't cross boundaries. I'm sure when she realises they're both in love, she'll step back.
Did somebody forget to tell the writer that she has 16 episodes, because why on earth did she cram so much into…
Does it matter what exactly he is thought? It's a Joseon era drama. No body had time to be analysing and naming how they were different. Too busy trying to survive. Also "I cannot lie with women" for that time basically screams gay.
