The height difference is giving me whiplash. I can't say whether it's cute or disturbing. What I do love though is that the fl stands up for herself to the ml. She's naïve but not some doormat. Also, soon as she realises the ex is an ass she's done with him. love it for her. Would love recs for jdramas with fl like this.
I'm sorry about the princess' trauma but she's such a spoilt brat I can't find any empathy for her. Now they've added another spoilt princess who refuses to see that Xuan Lie doesn't want her.
That Princess is going to cause trouble for everyone before she learns to tame her mouth and not be so self-centred. Luo is another character I'm annoyed by. Betraying your friend because of another man's wife. A fucking mess.
The scene on the plane ride when Dr Baek looked up and prayed "Dear God, Please believe in me" really struck me. It was only a few seconds but the vulnerability was so subtle you'd almost miss it. His expression was pleading. It was less a declaration of confidence but a request. I wish I understand Korean because I'm pretty sure some nuance was lost in that prayer. (I also don't think he was praying to any specific religion's God.)
AouBoom scene did nothing for me. They seemed to be trying so hard not to let their bodies touch. And the trousers on after what's supposed to be a lovemaking sesh? Not buying it.
I have words for Yotha but plenty has been said about him already. Irl a person like that would keep hurting their partner even if they get into a committed relationship. Too much unresolved baggage. But this is a BL and YothaGun are bringing all the feels so I'm so looking forward to next week and all the butterflies.
C-rated version of The Glory indeed. First two episodes had all the cliches that you can expect from a Japanese…
The only thing this has in common with The Glory so far is that the leads were in high school together there is planned revenge involved. The villains in The Glory were mean bullies. Rena here is clearly a psychopath (they're laying it on thicker than bread on butter).
So much to unpack in this episode. By far my favourite ep so far.
Gun is such a sweetheart. I know people like that irl who cannot hold a grudge or be upset with someone they care about for two seconds once they apologise. Yotha trying the same trick twice just had me smh. I expect to see a proper conversation between them in the next ep.
Wa 🚩 certainly has a type. And while I understand why he stays close to Yotha, he's doing a little too much. especially knowing how it feeds his current bf's insecurity. And why does it feel like this was the first time he explained things to Klao clearly? Klao needs to shape up or shape out. Nobody (except maybe Wa 🚩) wants an insecure violent cry baby.
Now to the man of the match Faifa. I was a little uninterested in his story because I haven't really seen the actor in anything else but now I'm looking forward to it a lot. Faifa is such a layered character, one of the better written ones in this drama in my opinion. He's similar to Gun in a lot of ways and it makes sense given the revelation about what his mum did to him. Masking true feelings behind a cheerful exterior. Loved him standing up to Yotha and taking care of Gun.
This ep had everything. Humour, romance, angst and Arm's overdramatic fake-acting ass. Everyone one of the actors bringing their A-game. I for one am glad it's 24 episodes.
What immature thing has Gun done? Being overly cheerful and friendly translates as immaturity these days? And how are you not seeing that it's an act he's gotten into so as not to make others worry about him? That's the crutch of his character arc.
If you're squeamish about cheating, this might not be the series for you.
That aside, I love the back and forth emails side by side their real life encounters. The pace is just perfect for me. I'm curious about how their relationships with their partners will play out after they become intimate with each other (and not just sexually).
Well your comment was bothering me for 8 hours. And nobody was saying anything about this. So I'm allergic to…
You did good by replying. I was going to point it out as well that an allergy to milk does not equal an allergy to butter. There is so little lactose in butter that it doesn't matter. And if it's a straight-up milk allergy and not lactose intolerance then butter isn't a problem at all.
I really dislike the university girl right now. This is harassment. Even if you know the person likes you, respect them not wanting you. Of course they'll end up together. bleh

I agree with everything else.
