You read some comments here and realise that thinking is indeed a luxury. Plus there's this quickness to insult writers/directors.

One of those shows where the casting is near perfect. All the actors bodied their roles. That man's expressions when the prosecutor was reading him for filth? *chef's kiss*

I'm loving the comedy. There's nothing subtle about it but all the characters work in such tandem it stops short of being cringey. Song Kang as a goofy annoying demon is hitting all the right spots. I feel like this is the first role I've seen him in that's closest to his personality and he seems to be having a lot of fun with it. The comic chemistry between him and the FL and the other support characters also helps a lot.

I just assumed the writer's intent was to show Taemin as he is - an asshole who mouths platitudes but is really nothing more than a rich cowardly bully. That bit about Hyoshim going to the police so everyone would find out was really him articulating something he's too weak to do himself - go public with his feelings. He's not thinking at all about the implications for her (she's the one who'll suffer if she goes to the police tbh). It's all him him him.

But then I've watched enough kdramas to accept the writer might actually think the whole thing is romantic on some level and the thought makes me want to barf.

If you enjoyed that, then you'll like this. It's actually better in my opinion.

That couple that took photos with Mokha deserved to be bitchslapped. Glad the brothers helped her handle them. Too many people like that irl.

He said that for the others' sake. To put their minds at rest. In that same conversation he admitted the possibility that the dad would come at them. Plus all the cctv cameras he has set up says he does not believe his dad will stay away. He hopes he will but he doesn't believe it.

There is a scene where Kiho's stepdad explains to the brother how they came about their new identities. The missing family with two sons the same age as Kiho and his brother. That's them. Once they're discovered, Kiho's family becomes criminals for stealing their identity.

It's worth watching but it might not be get-out-of-slump material. Depends on how deep the slump is tho.

What the entire fuck??? Between painting a target on Hyoshim's back and kissing her without consent, TM has entered his villain era. What manner of delusion is this? Hyoshim managed to get some small respite this episode but in swoops Mr Nice Guy to ruin everything.

Not mad that the mum took care of the debt with that watch. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Let him get a taste of what his sister has to put up with.

Nah. That boss does not have a filter. A client quit because he likes a trainer? The rumour mill will work overtime and before you know it Hyo-shim is a seductress who chases away clients. It'll ruin her reputation.

The pacing of this drama is excellent. No second wasted. Blink and miss something. Don't know if it's the actor's quirk or the character's quirk but the way Yi Joo widens her eyes is a little unsettling. Like a perpetual surprised look even when the emotion isn't surprise.

Curious to see how they wrap up all the loose ends + the time travel bit.

Introduction of the characters 10/10.

Went back to rewatch that scene and she made that comment looking at the video of her brother and SIL. They look "unkempt" and are on an actual alpaca farm. Not sure how that's racist when her comment is directed at them and not the country/people. Happy to be corrected.

Now if you talk about being classist and dismissive? Yes she was. Which is consistent with her character. She roasted everybody at that party.

Poison maybe? He's the first son with a stepmother. Then FL gets murdered right away. I smell a conspiracy.

Guess I can ignore all my misgivings for this. Off to watch.
