I feel like a broken record at this point but what does the FL's sub-plot add to this drama? The character is not compelling by herself. Her story stopped holding my interest after ep 2. Even the PD brings more vim to the drama than she does and she's barely in it.
Love how the three friends revert to juvenile behaviour when they're together. Absolutely bonkers and hilarious. But also tender.
The ML is an asshole. He's a little less of an asshole to the FL and she succeeds in "changing" him a little so yay? And tbh there are tons of "misunderstood geniuses" like him in real life so it's not like they plucked the character out of thin air. He did become a tad more empathetic in the later episodes so hurrah for some character development.
That said, the writers did a stellar job on the romance front. The leads have such great chemistry whether they're fighting, playing or trying to drown in each other's eyes. And the kisses were beautifully done. FL is quite impulsive but she is so loyal and caring and just such a sweetheart.
I can't say I didn't expect Gao to become a cartoon villain. But cancer is a redemption arc? I didn't see that coming.
What exactly does the fl add to this drama? 7 episodes in and I still don't know. Her role is just so obviously lacking when everyone else is pulling their weight.
This drama is the highlight of my weekends. The humour is so on point. The bromance is 10/10.
What exactly is Man's character supposed to be? Thought he was for comic relief and it was okay in the first episode but from ep 2 he's just an irritant. Annoying but not important enough to be a villain.
I think he's cute and charming. Da Yeol overreacts to everything - he brings it upon himself, Plus, he plunged…
I can overlook the fake juice and sticking his arrows together as pranks. But he made a false sexual assault accusation, took something he knew was important to Da Yeol to use as leverage and threatened him with another false report. That is asshole behaviour right there.
Tae Hyun is a straight-up ass and completely unlikeable. I'm sure in the next few episodes they'll give him a backstory and justify his behaviour. So annoyed Da Yeol can't smack him without getting into trouble.

This drama gives me all the feels. I see all the flaws and have questions about the plot but meh. Who cares when butterflies are aflutter?
I really like that none of the leads is naive. Completely over the saintly FL/ML trope.
I can't believe they were trying to act like Shin Sung Han is not a hottie. Would love to see the bts for that scene.
