it is all open to interpretations because we see what we see through our own filter. The crew made it in this way so all people interested in BL will be glued to the screen, And I am surprised that you are surprised. No need to explain anything to anyone. I was asking people for their opinion. Curious why so many folks make it about the writer rather than an issue...
This looks a little soapy but hopefully it'll be watchable. From the trailer it looks like WRC has a meaty part…
If we are lucky, we can watch it on MangoTV app as they are releasing the episodes - I was able to watch the entire Lucky Stars Falling from the Sky for free before they locked it (subscribers only).

an interesting point. I am totally respectfully disagreeing with you on him being bi but slow to realize. I always thought that bi people were like same sex people and in fact every queer person out there (myself included): you know it as soon as you recognize you are a person with feelings and sex drive. But then again, perhaps in China it works differently? I wonder if him being" bi slow to realize" is the only option?
WOW what a stellar jump like light years ahead all other Chinese BL dramas I had seen so far. The dialogue (both spoken and internal) is awesome, and I love how they scripted this. This is not a gay or bi boy being seduced but a straight guy who says "I don't know if I like men, I like you" even though he is only doing the entire luring and leading on to get a revenge on his ex. I wonder if other people see it as a non-committal flirting because at ep 5 I still don't feel Wu Suo Wei is falling for Xiao Chi while the bad boy is starting to have more than just sex interest in him. Wei is setting up Cheng for a heartache because he is really not interested at this point. Darn, we are not even 25% into the series and this is so unbelievably good regardless of some cringe full moments.
I am wondering if anybody else caught this as well. In ep 12 23:55 there is a scene of bucolic happiness of women from Qingchuan on Biluo River (flashback of FL's memory) - it looks very much like the women-only villagers from Dominion and Devotion where the emperor hid. Am I seeing things???
I just realized why I thought I am watching it again while clearly it is a new release. A few weeks ago I watched Zhi Zhang and the story is somewhat similar.
I read the review and now I just have to see the oil glistening chest sex on a coffin and the romantic conversation about hemorrhoid surgery. you are hilarious!🤣🤣🤣
It's a rebirth story of FL, and ML. Both reborn but didn't know, other person reborn too. FL's sister and ML made…
no no, no worries. In the past two years there has been revenge with rebirth stories gallore so I am just looking for a fresh look and acting/directing rather than rehashing the old tropes in mediocre production . THANKS!
this one proves that a successful drama does not have to have an ambitious script or consistent/logical plot and a lot of resources. This got me hooked with the opening music (very catchy) and the characters that create expectant atmosphere while keeping things rather on tongue-in-cheek level. Fast paced and played decently by the leads who created natural and believable roles. Too bad it's so short
This is her early past project, shoot back in 2020 or 2021, I dont think you will get what you expected. I'll…
same here! I dropped more because of wooden boy SWL but her character was terrible. I am puzzled why and how two bad actors end up in lead roles so much. Everlasting Longing was like that as well.
I am more than confused. Will need someone to explain to me in a chronological order what the heck happened because every time the bell rings nobody gets their wings but my head is spinning with the flashbacks
