YOU CAN'T STAND HER WHILE SHE IS THE VICTIM!?!? Man, some people just always hate FLs no matter how perfect they…
Literally! Like I get how some dramas make FLs like children, or dumb as hell.. but Jiang Ci is one of the best FLs I’ve seen. I guess maybe they want a Mary Sue who for some reason knows everything and knows what to do for every situation. Jiang Ci, my poor girl, is trying her best in her unfortunate circumstance, heart of gold still shining through, helping those who need it, despite being in a situation she didn’t ask to be in.
YOU CAN'T STAND HER WHILE SHE IS THE VICTIM!?!? Man, some people just always hate FLs no matter how perfect they…
But tell me how was she supposed to know. How is Jiang Ci supposed to know? You can easily judge as the omniscient viewer, but she is only let in on so much. She is fighting for what she can see. Even Pei yan himself doesn't even know who the guy he kidnapped really is, just who is supposed to be. He doesn't know Wei Zhao's past, nor his goal. So if Pei yan himself can figure it out, how is Jiang Ci supposed to. Only episode 9/10, I forget, does she see these people who are fighting with Wei Zhao. If such old kind people fight for him, his cause must truly be bigger than a random kidnapped guy.
So when they brought Jiang Ci and her master back from Yueluo, did they know who her master was? Did they bring her back as her master or as one of the Yan sisters? Why does everyone know one of the Yan sisters is back. When did they find this out?
Jiang Ci is so helpless in her current situation. Everything she tries to escape is ruined before it even happens. Before she was trapped by Wei Zhao and Pei Yan, but now she's got the frickin emperor on her back. And she's trapped by her love for her master, the same way her master is for her (but I bet the master is also trapped by her past, what she's hiding, she's afraid it will come into light).
Oh righttt, HUGE MISS. I watched the two episode far apart I completely forgot about it. They have so many misses man, sad we couldn't get anything before the split DDDD:
My heart breaks for Jiang Ci and Wei Zhao. When she poisoned him, she looked so heartbroken. She wants to love who she thought he was, but she doesn't know anymore. Despite her love, her values and her master mean a lot to her. The same way despite Wei Zhao's love for her, he gave his life to avenging his father and protecting Yuelou. So a simple please don't marry him for her master is enough.
When Jiang Ci was hugging him, she was restraining herself, her lip quivers AWWWWW... When he caught her and her master in the carriage, he seemed so heart broken when she said she didn't love him. He was looking in her eyes to see if she was lying, hoping she was.
I don't think there is a happy ending from stuff I've seen and heard, but I hope we can get stuff cleared up between them. I can tell she is questioning things after her master started saying cruel stuff about his father and sister. She knows her master is good, but she also knows that the people of Yuelou are good and didn't deserve what happened to them. BUT she knows she's missing information from both sides.
It isn't even enemies to lovers. That's just trauma and toxic. More like attempted murder to lover. People seem…
no if you do its cause your frontal lobe ain't fully developed... and there is always emotional manipulation involved. Nobody falling in love with someone who tried to kill them, if they do, its Stockholm syndrome or something along the lines. It ain't love, its a jail.
When Wei Zhao bowed to Jiang Ci for saving his people??? The respect and admiration?? They didn't simply fall…
THAT WAS MY FAVOURITE PART! It showed that it's not just love but respect. Our FLs always do things that forward the romance, but not just for their character and the plot. This of course helped forward romance, but he gave the moment to her cause she deserved it.
ML was extremely abusive towards the FL like how can you turn to lovers after being mistreated so poorly?? Then…
I promise that was the last episode. Just keep watching, cause its uphill from here. He literally doesn't raise his hands on her every again. Also yeah you'd think there are plot holes at episode 10 when there are 40 lol. I was also confused to be fair, but a lot is cleared up. Its usually foreshadowing.
OMGGGGGGGG My love for Jiang Ci gets stronger every episode. First comment is spoiler in respect to last two episodes…
ALSO SCREW THE NEXT TWO EPISODES, It became so happy and now my heart is about to break for Jiang Ci. One thing that bothers me though is Wei Zhao's reaction. Like he is definitely not the desperate type, he is more reserved, but I want to see him wear that regret on his face with not his micro expressions... GIVE ME MACRO! Have yal seen goodbye my princess.... when she found out..... GIVE ME THAT! Give me begging, crying, on your knees.

Miss girl even confessed to him first! She literally said we already married boo, but lets do it again!
Also one thing I have to point out this episode is when he bowed to her. That's something I cannot recall ever seeing in any cdrama. Like it just shows that the show knows Jiang Ci deserves to be respected for what she did, it wasn't anything little. It also shows what a humble person Wei Zhao is, he loves Yuelou so much and is so grateful to Jiang Ci.
The actions of the female characters are usually appreciated by other characters in shows but we don't see much appreciation from their male lead. Usually when they do something good, it helps the romance, they're like "omg she's so cool, I think I like her even more now!" The bow was a show of respect, comrade to comrade. I'm sure it made him love her even more, but he is more grateful.
After reading the comments I'm having a mental breakdown here, how on earth can she f*cking come to like him?…
You have to catch up xd I can barely explain how they did it, but they did! They still remind us every now and then he tried to kill her so we don't forget that... why? Because you're right, that's not something you can ever forgive. However, you can TRY to make up for it. And he does it numerous times. So continue to watch!
Me not at all! Actually wanted WZ to realize she was gone and to feel more regret. I'm kinda mad that he said…
SAME! You said it perfectly! Like I know he doesn’t want her to leave, but his duty to his father and his town is important. He is willing to manipulate her for that. Yes yes! I hope he gets what’s coming for playing with her emotions. I can’t wait to see how they depict it. I hope we can see his desperation to keep her. Sadly I don’t know if we will :((
idk why anyone would be pissed at JC, I am pissed at ML for continuing to break her trust.
I’ve seen people in comments who I can tell always have issues with female leads in dramas. And despite how good of a character jiang ci is, they find ways to blame her lol. So I just wanted to say that! I am disappointed in WZ, I know he hates himself for it though.
