Title Why R U?
I really liked it, it was a nice watch! There are some flaws but overall, it was good and even better than the Thai original. My problems were the dub (I'm not used to South Korean series being dubbed, it took me out of the scenes most of the time), the editing (some of the scenes were not flowing well), some of the characters' behaviour (Ji Ho liking Yi Won all of a sudden - they should have made him like Yi Won from the beginning, it would have been more logical - and Yu Gyeom not telling Soo Won that he wasn't dating Da Yeon - I still don't understand why... It would have saved so much time of unnecessary drama...). But I really loved the actors, especially the main couple, they were really fun and cute to watch.

Title Love Tractor
I usually prefer binge watching Korean BL shows as they are short and easy to watch. But for this one, the ending was planned on June 21 (so I started the show at this date in order to binge watch it) but the two last episodes were actually a week later. Don't understand why and I kind of forgot the feeling of the first 6 episodes as I was watching the end. So this is just my opinion on the two last episodes: good but definitely not exceptional.

Ye Chan is pretty annoying. He can be cute at times, but he is mostly childish and his way of talking is really irritating (I know this is a dialect but the inflection of his voice made me tired to hear him talk...). Also, saying that he is a green flag is definitely not true! Because instead of accepting being rejected and let go, he insists on pursuing Yul even though Yul clearly told him that he doesn't see him as more than a younger brother. And after that, oh my god... Him always entering Yul's house without being invited and him crying just because Yul wasn't home and asking Yul to let him know when he leaves was sooo not right!! He has no right to act like that! It's really a shame because Head Villager Ma's advice about him having to let go if Yul had a boyfriend was a really good advice (after watching Jaab in Step by Step pursuing someone already taken...). So yeah, it's a shame that they had to spoil the only good thing about this character.

Apart from that, I really liked the music. Yul's character was the best among the cast, even though I couldn't care less about his trauma with music.

Title Step by Step
Unpopular opinion, but am I the only one uninterested in Jane and Jaab's "romance"? No hate to them ofc, I simply…
You're not the only one. I feel really weird watching their scenes as Jen is a cheater and Jaab is clearly hitting on a taken guy. I feel like the writers are gonna make Mon a jerk just to excuse their previous behaviour but that won't change the fact that Jaab has no remorse stealing a guy from another and Jen is letting him do it. I don't like cheaters...

It is not a good series, but it is not a bad one either. The main problem is that the series didn't take the time to develop. Also, 2 accidental kisses in a row... It's a bit too much...

Noey is around 17/18 after finishing M4 as that's the ages of students who move onto M5. Thi is in his 3rd year…
I see. Thanks for the information anyway. It's always nice to learn how it works in other countries :)
And yes, it was a good show overall.

Does retake exist in Thailand? Because I live in France and students can retake classes easily so I would believe that Noey is 16-17 when in M4 if he retook one class.

Noey is 15 or 16 at the beginning of the series. A quick search on Wikipedia about the Thai education system can show you that you enter M4 at the age of 15. As for Thi, I agree, he is 20 or 21, depending if the series starts at the beginning or the end of the school year.

On I Will Knock You Mar 26, 2023
As a lot of people stated, the first half of this series is not that good. I was surprised to read so many good comments for that matter. But from episode 6, the series grew on me as Noey starts to flirt with Thi and Thi seems more at ease next to him. The scenes between them become funny and cute. The only two things that bothered me were Thi's character (I don't quite like his scaredy cat personality to be honest) and their age difference. At first, I thought Noey was in his last year of high school (when he was in fact in his first year) and I thought Thi was in his first year of university (when he was in his third year). So I believed they only had a 2 year age gap when they have in fact a 5 year age gap.
But as a whole, it was a nice watch and I recommend this series.

I don't think I'm gonna like this series. Cher is annoying. He doesn't know where are the limits and it is presented as funny but it is not. Also, the story is going too fast! There's only one episode and they're already talking on the phone for hours and Boss is smiling at Cher's mischief and already accepts to change for him. And I've seen the preview for episode 2 and - it's probably a misdirection - but they seem to be about to kiss already! I really hope they tried to misdirect us because there's absolutely no story at this point but we already have the ship...

Of course, misogyny is bad no matter the country but what I meant is that I tend to look past that when I watch asian dramas because they are still very conservative with a 1950s way of thinking. It doesn't mean they're right, it's just that I don't bother.

Am I the only one who doesn't want Gaipa and Alan to end up together?... I mean, I kinda expect it because they chose Khaotung and First to play the roles but there's only one episode left and Gaipa just lost his mother and First still needs to go back on his feet after the break up with Wen. Also, I don't think they will work together... (just my opinion)
Anyway, this episode was heartwrenching. Especially the scene in which Gaipa sings the song for his mum.

Oh... I see! Thank you for the intel. That's a shame they decided to sub on a weekly basis but I'm gonna wait (I don't have the choice anyway)!

I've actually picked up on it and that also quite shocked me. I was expecting one of the characters to rebuke the guy for what he said but nothing... And the girl (who is not a girl so that may be why) didn't even defend herself and accepted this remark as something normal. I would have excused this thing a little because it is Japan, but no... that was really bad...

On Never Let Me Go Feb 28, 2023
Well, I may be harsh but it's a 2/10 for me. I'm so glad this is finally over because this series was ridiculous from the start. Okay... maybe not from the start but it rapidly went downhill. The only thing good in this series was the relationship between the uncle and his son (and the actors were good) but it could have been much better with a better script and a better direction.

Title Remember Me
This series started good and overall, the plot is very good but... it is awfully boring. The pace is very - too - slow. They should have made less episodes. We sometimes have shots that last 2 or 3 minutes of just one character crying or just looking at the distance. Also, the music is sooo repetitive that I wanted to mute the whole series. They should have also stopped with the wigs that did not help the actors look good... Only First avoids this horrible idea.

On Cutie Pie 2 You Feb 16, 2023
I really liked Cutie Pie but this "season 2" was boring. They wanted to put too much emphasis on the bed scenes (7 minutes of Kuea and Lian kissing and touching is too long!!! They did the same with Nuer and Syn). It was too much. Also, Perth is just a guest in this, that's a shame.

You can't blame the writers as they are just following the manga's plot(s)... And there's a pretty good reason why Inami does what he does.

I agree 100%. It is interesting enough to keep watching but the actors (especially Onoe because he is supposed to be the one that shows his emotions the most) are bland af. I can't get used to this Onoe, I feel bored watching him on the screen...
As for the plotline about Inami Kei, I was surprised to see him appearing so soon (because this plot is from Tome 4) but I feel like it is not a bad idea. They will probably make Kaburagi jealous of him and he will open up to Onoe about his feelings. He is replacing Masayan in that role.
