"Kehas See Dang" (which means:"The Red Mansion") is a lakhorn that has been remade several times. The latest version stars the veteran actor Andrew Gregson as the socially awkward doctor Ruj Rujiroj who comes home after 15 years to the Red Mansion after his step-mother dies. The painful reminder of her shameful past makes Ruj despise his step-sister who he becomes legal guardian to,the lovely Araya played by Mint Nutwara. Tension arises every time they are in the same room and it becomes a strain for Araya to live in the Red Mansion she has lived in her whole life, especially since she can`t come to terms with his unresonable hate for her mother. Both are still undenyably attracted to each other and Ruj clearly can`t keep himself from falling for her over the course of time.We also have three nannies of Ruj`s and a loyal lawyer who wishes for Araya and Ruj to marry someday.

This lakhorn is so LOVELY! It was surprisingly nice watching Mint and Andrew co-star on-screen and Mint had much improved on her acting here.I have quite become obsessed with Andrew`s acting and his dynamic presence on-screen and he really did a remarkable job as Dr Ruj.The way he walked, watched, ate and talked fit the stoic character of Ruj perfectly!I was amazed since i a lot of times forgot that Andrew even portrayed him.We get introduced to lot of fun and romance in this story. The hate to love relationship between Ruj and Araya was so sweet and entertaining. It was so romantic watching Ruj fight for her to come back to him to the very end.He was so sweet in his declarations of love and told her that she is only his,not Charlie`s or Pakanai`s.Such a romantic and possessive praek,i adore him!We have another destructive Nang Rai in form of Sowwarot (played by Charm Irvin) who is Ruj`s ex-girlfriend that never knew what she really wanted but loads of money.I quite liked her close (but kinda toxic) relationship with her father,it was them together against the whole world. This lakhorn is nicely done and well executed. The Red Mansion had such beautiful nature around it.I really enjoyed the scene where Araya showed Ruj the Lotus Flower place on the river, such a beautiful place!

I have now finished watching all the three versions of the classic lakhorn "Roy Marn" about Bee who gets forced to take her cousins place as a bride against her most hated enemy Mark.I have reviewed all the other versions and its clear for me now that i actually loved the original 1990 version and 2011 versions much more. This version starring Pock Mittiraroch as Bee and Bandit Saokaew as Mark was very much likable and fun to watch, but it lacked the deep passion and longing in the other versions.Pock portrayed a great Bee but she wasn`t entertaining in the way Margie and Ben Pusit pulled it off in their versions.Bandit is a decent actor who makes a very gorgeous Mark, while Boy did a incredible job as Mark but for me Tua from the 1990 version is the original Mark.No one can pull of the character of Mark better than Tua.This version`s Mark was made more gentle and serious without all that arrogance the other versions of Mark has shown. One more interesting thing is that Mark and Bee fall much earlier for each other, even before Marks wedding to May.I also love how jealous Mark is every time Bee spends time with Athit. The actress who played May in the 1990 version plays her mother Vijatra in this version, also May is portrayed less evil in this version since she is very victimized due to the kidnapping and rape on her wedding day which was caused by the very obsessed Chansan. One negative thing more is that this version also focuses much on the relationship between Mark`s friend and the woman who got cheated by her husband together with the bitchy Wiyada and in my opinion their scenes were so boring and unnecessary.Bandit and Pock make a great couple together, only wished for more romantic scenes with them together instead of her always leaving him all the time which got them separated second half of the story.

I had nothing to watch while checking out some Youtube videos and then saw this and decided to watch "Roy Adeed Hang Ruk" starring Bie Sukrit Wisedkaew and Mew Peerot Yaapin in which they acted for the first time.It is a very dramatic lakhorn with many over the top moments and has the tropes i usually like which is the hate-love relationship between the main-leads.There are many repetitive dialuges and much push and pull which made some scenes pretty hilarious when they were meant to be serious.Since Bie and Mew both were acting for the first time it was very hard to buy into the naturalism in their acting. They couldn`t act naturally and therefore a certain depth was missing in their characters (Bie did a much better job in his later 2007`s version of "Hua Jai Sila".Bie plays the rich business tycoon Tonnarm who loses his fiance early in the story and blames the female lead Meen for being the murderer (when it was only a car accident). At every turn he tries to make her suffer but in turn loses his heart to her for her gentle and tender beauty and patience.Eventually he can`t stay away from her and hurts both of them because of his rage of jealousy and the misunderstandings that keep them apart, there is also one obsessed gold-digger who wants to claim Tonnarm at every turn.I hope they will make a remake of this lakhorn someday!

"When we were eighteen,we fell in love, loved each other, cried, ran away, knelt down. And turned our backs at each other countless of times.I thought it was a pretty dream. But you ended up being a nightmare."

-Kim Tan

With the best cast, the best dialuges, expressive characters, interesting relationships and beautiful and epic love-story.."The Heirs" are one show i will never forget.I watched this one with great attention, both laughed and cried with the characters.Watching Lee Min-Ho and Kim Wo-bin co-star as nemesis, their epic performances are one thing i unlikely will ever forget.Everything intruged me,and i found a lot of these characters passionate, and i rooted for them with all my heart. We get to watch them fall in love, suffer, battle, fight through obstacles and grow up in the imaginary Elite world they live in.

I don`t know what to say.I came into this drama knowing what to expect, but couldn`t imagine how hard it would hit me to the stomach."Stairway to Heaven" is a classic of its own, that takes over the list of star-crossing love-story over all other love-stories that have been aired in Korea and throughout Asia.Every 20 episodes is worth it...you live into their world of splendid happiness, pain, heartbreak, grief, hate, jealousy and bitter-sweet love that easily destroys the individs "Stairway to Heaven" is surronded by.The cast is simply amazing, and in my mind Choi Ji-Wo and Kwon Sang-Woo and Shin Hyun Joon are the true stars in the drama, all of their performances are heartfelt and expressive. All of them shined together on-screen,and delivered amazingly.By the way,i found the main-characters Jung-suh and Song-joo very beautiful together, wheww what a mind-blowing chemistry they have!!!

Jung-suh (played by Choi Ji Wo) is an admirable heroine with her heart on her sleeve.Every man easily could fall in love with her,as her beauty is inside and out.Her strength and bravery and care-free nature is what lures Song-joo into her net,he is her beloved child-hood friend..and her lover and soulmate.Even falling into the clutches of amnesia, her heart still belonged to Song-joo.

"From the moment i saw you,i thought you were Jung-Suh and that thought hasn`t changed at all...I look like a crazy fool, huh?I think i am gonna go crazy,I don`t think i can live anymore! What should i do?What do i have to do?Do something to me!" - Song Joo

Song-joo (played by Kwon Sang Woo) is a hero to die for and i love him so so so much. The actor playing him is so deliciously handsome, and showed the eternal love and longing Song-joo have towards Jung-suh so well that i cried for him.He can`t live without her,and we all root for him to find his beloved Jung-suh again, after she was so cruelly taken away from him.

"I...I`ll wait here.If you still haven`t sorted out your feelings after going in...then when you come out, don`t look at me and just go.If you...If you have some doubts and come back to me...I won`t let you go until i die.Even if you hate me...I still won`t let you go". -Tae Hwa

Tae-hwa (played by Shin Hyun Joon) is the step-brother of Jung-suh and is one of the best supporting characters i have ever stood upon. His soul is so haunted and lonely..and lives and breathes only for Jung-suh.Its so heartbreaking watching a second male lead love the heroine this much...and i kinda hated the pain he went through with his unrequited love for her.I believe that Jung-suh loved Tae-hwa more than she love herself, but not in any romantic way.

The younger actors of that time Park Shin-hye,Baek Sung Hyun and Lee Wan played the younger versions of these characters very well, and i have to say that Shin-hye and Lee Wan indeed has got the better chemistry in their characters, which surprised me.I understood why they got their own drama later on in "Tree of Heaven" two years later with the same director.I also recommend that drama, which is a heart-shattering tale as well.I also have to mention that the OST´s of "Stairway to Heaven" are extremely beautiful and catchy,my favourites are "That`s the only One" and the song about Tae-hwa`s unrequited love for Jung-suh "Heaven`s Memory".

It is much clear from the start that the outcome of this film will be a heart-wrenching one!It cheats your hope in many ways, but you can`t help but fall in love with it all! This is a romantic drama that represents a daisy flower which symbolize innocence and purity through a love-triangle,in which two opposite forces falls in love with one woman.

Gianna gives out a outstanding performance as the carefree painter Hye-young. A young woman who has her heart on her sleeve who waits for her true love that has given her daisies for a long time and even build a bridge for her. Thinking its her new friend Jeong Woo...she has actually no idea who it really was. The character of Jeong Woo played by Lee Sung-jae had sadly no emotional depth that could relate me much to him. Fate made him meet Hye-young,but also took him ruthlessly away from her. professional hitman Park Yi played by Woo-sung has a dark charisma that kept you glued to the screen every time he made a appearance, his loneliness shows from his sad expressions...and his doomed love and passion for Hye-young was what made the true spark in this whole film. Them two together on-screen was magic!

THIS IS MY CUP OF ROMANCE!

Estranged Married Couple!

Terrible Mistake, Huge Misunderstandings.

Lots of Fights & Hot Kissess. Chemistry is OUT OF THIS FREEKIN WORLD!Never watched the mainleads on-screen and wowza the on-screen talent and the angst they conveyed in their scenes? Mindblowing!

(I LIVE FOR ROMANCE STORIES LIKE THIS,BABYY)

Supporting Cast is awesome by the way, everyone fit their roles well.

Heroine is furious and wants to divorce her sexy, smitten and possessive husband whom she BY THE WAY CALLS DEADBEAT HUSBAND in front of her in-laws. Is he deadbeat?! Initially, he has no idea what is going on and what happened. But as a viewer you get to know the human beneath his desperation and passion. The actor portrayed him so well, the way he freely released the beast inside of him and literally becomes Yandere in front of my eyes is NOTHING BUT PURE AWESOMERY!

***Fate is never working against your wishes in this Rainkissed Romance***

DaiGao portrays a hardcore vicous boxer YuChen with a heart of gold-whose reputation took a total splatter over a cheating scandal- and he gets even more embittered when the beautiful woman he had a one-night stand with six years ago has returned to demand a Marriage contract with him. Unknown to him, their passionate night resulted in twins and Bu Yan who is portrayed by ChenFang needs another child from him to save their son. Its a insane summary, but it works so well to the rainy comfy tone and the delicious chemistry between DaiGao & ChenFang.

Lost in The Midnight really delivers with a very sexy and devoted ML!

I am having a huge binge of these MINI-DRAMAS lately! Just aghhhh totally feeds my romantic soul! "Lost in the Midnight" is my first drama with the mainleads and i got so deliciously surprised by their chemistry and acting talent, especially the actor portraying Male Lead, our very dark and tortured mob gangster Luo Xiao who is despised and feared by everyone. I mean, all his brothers and grandfather hates him. Everyone have tormented and abused him, no wonder he held no love for his family at all. The actor just stole the overall show for me, his expressions and the rage and pain in his eyes was incrediby portrayed. What he did for the female lead to be by his side, ahhhh i love a smitten possessive hero!!

"I think dying by your hands would be better than losing you and dying of heartache" - Ah Da Mo

I smiled, laughed, swooned, screamed and cried while watching "New Tales of Gisaeng". Wow, what a journey this has been. What a absolutely marvelous story of fate, family, sisterhood, pain, trauma and the teachings of life this brought to every character. But most of all, the central and epic love-story of our main-leads, they are star-crossed lovers Ah Da Mo & Dan Sa Ran portrayed by Soo-Hyang and Sung-Hoon. These two on-screen created fireworks, just gosh what a beautiful pair they are! It was long time coming for me to watch "New Tales of Gisaeng" since it has been recommended to me for some time now but i never came around to actually watching past 20 min of first ep in the past. I think the time was not right for me, i gave it another shot last week and decided that i firmly would finish 3 episodes and when i did i was stuck. I knew this was a drama i had to and would finish watching. It is a wonderful story that depicts the magic of fate and how it entangles characters in their lives. This drama has characters that makes you root for them and i grew so fond of everyone, even the elders. Then we have the romance that feeded my romantic heart, ah what a magical and electrfying chemistry our main-leads have!! The dialuge, the glances and the touches between them, just stop it!!!KYAAAA!!!

Sa Ran is unlike many of the heroines i have seen in other dramas. She is cold in the sense that you would outwardly think she is arrogant, but she uses it as a mechanism to not open herself up to anyone. She does not speak of whats in her heart and mind, and the awful loneliness that consumes her. She has this firm dignity and great love for dancing. She is beautiful and has such a beauty in her heart. No wonder our leading hero Ah Da Mo fell madly in love with her! Ah, i love the way they hated to love each other. Hardcore hate-love story this one, and i loved every damn bit of it!!

Ah Da Mo has such a compelling character developement throughout the drama. He is very arrogant, bitter and cynical at the start. He lives his life with the following flow, knowing his place and situation in following his fathers footsteps as an heir to their family company and knows what is expected of him. He is not a rebel, but he is angry at his father for neglecting him emotionally throughout his child-hood, and that he even regards the dog Andre more of a son than Da Mo is, which is a humiliation to Da Mo`s ego. He slowly changes when he gets to know the dancer his grandmother invites to his house, the beautiful Sa Ran who is incredibly attracted to at first sight. But due to a awful misunderstanding caused by Da Mo`s cynical views she insults and hurt his pride, which makes him in return pursue her for his selfish reasons in making her fall for him so hard she would throw herself at him. (sigh, these arrogant male heroes always dig their own graves) but he senses how incredibly he is softening towards her and gets frightened out of his wits when he suspects that he is growing feelings for her. And that my friends was his gravest mistake. He run away from his own heart and bitterly regretted the awful consequences because of it. Thank god he comes to his senses and does everything there on to make her forgive him...i love how he declared that he lost to her. That he would rather she kill him with her own hands, than him dying of heartache living apart from her.

I also need to mention how fond i became of second female lead Ra Ra who also was given such a wonderful developement in character from a spoiled and entitled princess into a strong, loving and caring young woman who tackled the harsh surprises life gave her. The actress protraying her Hye-rin gave such depth to her performance that you could not help but root for her happiness as well. I love that she found true love in her new friend and protecter, Kyle that teached english at the Gisaeng House. They are absolutely wonderful together, love the deep sense of trust and friendship and admiration both have for each other.

Finally finished watching the 2005 version of "Neung Nai Suang" starring the legendary Ken Theeradeth and Janie Tienphosuwan. It`s my first time also watching Janie on-screen and she did a remarkable job as the stubborn Hathairat who never surrenders to Ken`s character Neung, a man who once as a boy bullied her.It has of course the same plot as the 2015 version, but only has less love-scenes and crazy drama (especially with the antagonists). But it has its charm to it despite being an old drama, and with Ken`s youthful handsome looks, he is the original Neung- and does a damn good job at playing him too. Some of the actors from the newer version even has their roles in this one too (one example is the actor that plays Neung`s father) which was very interesting. There is the chemistry between Hathairat and Neung that wins over it all, and the title does it well with staying true to the plot.A story about enemies turning to lovers, "One in my heart" depicting the way both of them irresistibly fall in love with each other-while staying at war against each other!

Whole crazy trainwreck!

But it was entertaining nontheless. FL disguises her as a maid in quest for revenge. Along the way seducing her married employer. It was crazy the way she seduced and manipulated him. The way he fell for her every trick. He could not resist her.

The actor portraying ML is a great performer, he does expressions very well and he is after all very handsome. I like that this is not the conventional romance we usually see in Verticals but it is a revenge plot where FL pulls it through the way she planned. ML´s wife is a maniac and a piece of shit, I like the way FL undermined her schemes and was the one instead who pulled all the cards. I also like that ML was a conspirator as well. I enjoyed this Vertical for what it was. As it is explained in the title itself.

I literally grew up watching Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou!!

This story and the characters had a huge impact on me ever since first watching it as a kid. I am surprised no one has written a review for this sequel movie yet, so i am gonna put it here first since i LOVE this story and the characters to bits. The leader of Bakada Tatsuya, his right wing Tetsuya, the Cattleya leader Fumie and her right wing Saya and the rest of the Bakada gang. All of them stole pieces of my heart. Their pride and honor, the way they were willing to die to protect it. Its that oldschool fierce spirit that doesn`t really exists in our modern society anymore.I miss these type of boys, boys who were fearless and had the courage to fight for the people they love and their honor. They are my childhood heroes. The Bakada boys and the Cattleya girls fighting as allies shoulders to shoulders and fighting any injustice coming their way to hurt their school. Despite their differences they learned a lot from each other and i love re-watching the drama series and movie sequel every damn year because Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou is a classic to me and dear to my heart!

Beautiful interpretation of a tragic Love-Story...

"Jang Ok Jung" is a historical romance drama filled with political intrigues, adventure, action and romance. Just packed with entertainment and a amazing cast that just delivered in all their performances. This is my first time watching Yoo Ah In on-screen and what a handsome and talented actor, his smile made me all gooey inside! And his voice, ahhhh his beautiful deep voice! His portrayal of the cunning but noble King Suk Jong was incredible, the character arc was amazingly written! I had seen Kim Taw Hee in "Stairway to Heaven" as SFL character, so i loved watching her as the female lead, heroine/Anti-heroine Jang Ok Jung and her journey to the palace and the King`s heart. I could never hate this woman, i got frustrated yes, but mind you this were different times and survival in a harsh environment like this were crucial. Prince Dong Pyung was such a great sidekick and character as well, loved and felt for him badly!

The OST are awesome, could listen to these songs all day. Finished this drama with my mother and sister. All of us cried in the end.

Old-school Slap-Kiss Romance

”Fire of Desire” is a lakhorn that took my breath away when I first watched it some years ago. I decided to re-watch it when I saw that Dragon’s Lair had finished subbing it and I am so grateful for that!! We have a very good looking Caucasian hero first time ever in a Thai Lakhorn (that I had seen, well except for Bandit in ” Roy Marn”) portraying the American rich heir Kenneth who is the best friend of Uma’s older brother. Kenneth speaks Thai as second language and loves Thai food and the culture immensely and he secretly loved his best friends sister all along-Uma in this case has strong prejudice towards foreign people and lashes out at Ken in every turn. When circumstances forces Uma to marry the one man she desperately despises, her hatred will wither away under Ken’s watchful gaze, speaking of his longing and love- the fire of his desire!!!
