It is a lovely relationship, but it is tough to watch the drama in places if you’ve experienced similar traumas. I skipped forward in a fair few places. Uea’s abusers are so shameless and persistent, it’s intensely distressing.

Yang in this has a similar vibe and face to Song Joon ki in Vincenzo (Netflix). He’s much more menacing though. Song had to act his way into being menacing. Yang has it just standing in the room. This is the only thing I’ve seen him in.

I’m getting more attached to Zi Shang. She’s the leavening this drama couldn’t do without, especially where Fan is concerned. Everytone else is so dark and earnest.

The line where she compared him to the actor who plays him made me spit out my drink.

The line where she tells her friend he resembles the actor who played Gong Ziyu made me spit out my drink.

Is this the wonderful character actor who played the amorous sister in My Journey to You? If so she’s a solid gold comedic talent. She and her straight man were a highlight.

She was great in Bad & Crazy.
