I’m halfway through. The start was a little slow for me but I’m enjoying it now. I think the message that there’s no such thing as a perfect boyfriend and the illusion of one doesn’t make for a satisfying relationship. The cameo boyfriends are a highlight for me. I’m glad it’s only 10 episodes. This of a fun, stress free watch.
Don’t most new parents learn as they go along!? That was a stupid reaction from the evaluator. To bad her sister didn’t have a will naming her guardian.
I like both and really can’t label either one as ML. I will consider them co-ML. This might be the fitrsy time for me doing that. I usually have a clear preference. I assume Tae Seop is considered ML and will eventually be the chosen BF though.
Who else noticed the scene in epi 12where dong ik was eating those macros and started speaking Chinese it remembered…
I know! I’m sure that was a nod to those crazy exaggerated eating scenes. I can’t get that character out of my head every time i see him. I was going to make the same comment. I’m glad you did!
without reading everyone else’s comments in detail, I see a lot of haters. For me this has been a cute drama with a heavy focus on family and what being in a family means. The baby is adorable and I agree without him would not be nearly as enjoyable. The romance was ok. SML was actually quite likable even though he wore way too much makeup. I get how many feel about the FL. Having seen a few of her other dramas, she doesn’t have much range but she is good enough for this role. I like the ML a lot and felt his range of emotions. I love a happy ending which this certainly will provide. Also a shout out to the neighbor grandma who is such an outstanding actress. Her role in Squid Game was played fantastically. Side characters were good enough. At 12 episodes this was a nice watch for me.
In this drama she looks and acts so much like the Korean actress Park Shin Hye who is a favorite of mine. I really like this actress. I first saw her in Begin Again and she was wonderful in that role as well.
A very enjoyable watch with a very satisfying and complete ending for all. FL was perfect for the role playing both a tough, strong and comedic role. I thought the character growth for all the main and secondary characters was well developed and excellent. One of the best I’ve seen. I will miss this one. The last episode was great.
I’m getting the sense that TaeSeop isn’t really over his last relationship and is just looking for a wife. He never looked at her with true interest or a spark. Maybe that’s just the character he’s portraying but if he really felt something he would have contacted her a lot sooner. JiSo definitely gave the impression that he had some initial feelings of wanting to see her again. After 2 episodes I’m team JiSo although I’m sure that can change over the course of the next 10 episodes. Also I can’t stop thinking about the horrible character he played in Queen of Tears. He’s so different here!
I can’t help but notice the similarities with another recent weekend drama, For Eagle Brothers which also had an ill fated relationship with another family. It’s also funny because the uncle in this one was also one of the brothers in FEB. I wonder how long these two families will keep up their feud or if they will ever reconcile. I really can’t see the path to reconciliation though. With 40 episodes to go I’m sure there’s a lot more drama between them to come.
