That is just basic lighting to match the scene and not stylized at all. You could get that with just using natural / already existing artificial scene light but they added in some defusors and bounces to fill the face evenly.
I am kinda surprised by you praising something so basic and common 🤣
This show would be much better with shorter episodes that are not padded with ton of filler and slow pace and 2nd half writting fell off the cliff and ton of stuff made no sense with plot holes.
I am surprised how they managed to stretch this into 20 episodes that are also 1 hour and 10-20 mins long. I mostly watched it speed up.
Does anyone think the ML is not making any decision because he knows he is still sick? I wonder if that is reason…
Wdym doesn't like setting up wedding date ? They didn't even give him the chance to do it. It's more about him being out of control and ignored. Even his relationship was prob kinda setup by dad to get ties with mayor.
does this have romance? I'm craving that with Rowoon BUT this doesn't look happy or romantic. please advise
Well there is romance in stories with side characters and some with FL and not Rowoon. If I tell who it's spoiler.
This show deals mostly with heavy themes and how to deal with death and suicide. Main leads job is to prevent people from committing suicide so it focuses on different stories throughout show.
There is lot of suffering and heavy themes but it also usually gives positive outlook and motivating bittersweet message and conclusions with some happy moments.
Ending is happy tho. I would highly recommend watching this because it's overall good show with great outlook on value of life and can give you motivation. I consumed it on bits and didn't binge it and I think that is the best way to approach it.
I have my KBLs for fluffy gay characters, so I'll take my interesting gay villains. I find the offensive OTT portrayals…
Villains in kdrama are overall badly written or not properly utilized a lot of the time, it has nothing to do with them being gay. Tho in S Korea representation of foreigners and non traditional stuff in media is mostly done poorly.
Compared to other stuff this was done well because his sexuality wasn't all his personality and wasn't thrown in your face. He was just a character who happened to be gay.
Yesterday you baited me thinking they ruined CEO character but now after watching it I am positively surprised…
Yeah while ml had some emotional damage he ultimately came out with many positives without the need of getting his hands dirty because someone else was solving problems for him and made his career.
That ceo....he just made ml's life more difficult. ML had already broken up with her and left her and she didn't…
Yesterday you baited me thinking they ruined CEO character but now after watching it I am positively surprised with the way his character was done and it was exactly the gray type of character I wanted and expected.
Tho there is no doubt he cares for ML as I thought but its obsessive unhealthy relationship that ultimately hurt ml but at same time kept him alive and successful.
They do this wrong even in series focused on court cases and lawyers so I am not surprised it's done wrong here…
Yeah lazy writters couldn't figure out how to write engaging scene that could aquire rings legally or atleast couldn't do it in as good of dramatic way so they did it like this because most target audience wouldn't care.
So using admissible law before they conveniently used it because it helped their narrative but now they chose to ignore it unless it somehow comes up later but I doubt.
I’m just finding it stupid for Sol Hee to get the evidence from Duk Chan’s office. It was taken without search…
They do this wrong even in series focused on court cases and lawyers so I am not surprised it's done wrong here also. A lot of times it's not because of lack of knowledge why they do these mistakes.
It usually flows faster or fits narrative pacing so they knowingly make a mistake.
This is done all the time with various things in video production.
You would probably cut off all your friends because they didn't deserve and fit your idealistic perfect vision…
I didn't watch last 3 episodes yet so I don't know what happened but sounds like disappointing writting if it happened as you said.
I hoped for complex deeper gray character but I guess I expected 2 much of this drama. Will see what happened when I catch up on it later today or tomorrow.
Not everyone turning on the FL because she’s not perfect and made a mistake under extreme pressure, sheesh.…
I mean logic and plot in this show is full of holes and can't be taken seriously so writters just make them do what needs to be done for stuff to happen. It's lazy writting and you can't expect much for what it is.
I disagree about no one talking about ml. I and many others pointed out ton of stuff about him and unrealistic plot in ealier episodes but got backlash for it for taking stuff seriously and got bombarded with insults.
Many people who initially tried watching this got put off and mostly just people who ignored the flaws stayed.
