That how insane smart Ha Seok-jin is, he made something that so hard to happen to actually happen which can people…
This one is definitely well done and scripted on the lighter side but when I say every show is scripted I don't mean people straight up need to be actors and act. It's done in various ways. Sometimes during interviews they drop leading question or say something that gives them idea or encourage some stuff, etc. It still comes of natural because they don't act per say. Most of the time contestants are being manipulated and gaslight by producers.
I am not saying they are making certain people win but they definitely made sure someone would solve prison mystery because a lot was invested into that.
Argument of there being bigger price pool actually means there is bigger incentive to script stuff for investment to work out and produce higher profit. Also every contestant also gets paid just by being in the game and are hired in basically almost same contract as actors and they sign nda stuff and stuff that gives production company free range to manipulate final product. They also signed that they will not endanger production and that they will follow directions so producers can make the product which means they must follow and do stuff they were told or they break contract. To what capacity producers use this or enforce it we don't know.

I am saying one of the middle episodes not in the middle of the episode. Ofc editing put it at the end of the episode but whole lead up and execution is just 2 good and definitely helped by producers in some capacity to make it happen.
As someone who worked on few reality shows adaptations I can tell you basically every single one of them is scripted unless it's very low budget. No one will approve such high budget show without some concept and solid narative to get engaging product to meet the metrics.
When I say scripted in most good ones they do it with small nudges in the right way, give small hints, create developments for drama by placing seeds or gaslighting or be observants and intercept when corrections are needed for good narrative. When done correctly you get most of the raw emotions and reactions even tho it's kinda controlled behind the scenes.
Leaving the show to be completely unscripted would in most cases lead to disaster or just more boring to watch and money risk and even if it may work sometimes it would still come out better with proper scripted execution.

Being smart and figuring out stuff is different then getting all narrative pieces together perfectly for great timing to fit in episodes cliffhangers.
It's all just 2 nice fitting together compared to randomly solving it in some mid episode and getting in prison with random person with non dramatic smart way.
What’s the wrong with FL's mom?I mean, her daughter earn a decent amount. And she pays her credit card bills…
There are people who are rich and kleptomaniacs in real life. It's kinda like that and she prob doesn't wanna be dependent on daughters willingness to give her money. Having ton of money even if obtained in scummy way gives her feeling of security and independence.
They just realised their hidden potential. They already had it but jump made the instincts to kick in and accelerate/…
They didn't know who has the power. Most people died and the scene we were shown were just of relevant characters with power. They killed a lot of people trying to find the ones with power which means they also potentially killed some people with powers that wouldn't be helpful in surviving the fall.
Well I ment more like her excitement and intensity when it comes to basketball compared to other stuff.
I didn't give her tickets when I proposed and I had no idea giving gifts was a thing but if I gave her tickets she would prob look at them longer then the ring.
In our family we follow all kind of sports and I used to play football in 2nd league but basically everyone in eu played and follow football in above average capacity 🤣
Losing powers is necessary to progress in life and learn to live and put trust in people like every normal person…
It doesn't matter if she learns not all lies are big.
It's gonna do annoying ding and ruin the mood.
We wanna hear lies, be unsure and have hope instead of hearing dings when some worker at hotel tells us have a nice die or when boyfriend tell you little lies that you feel insecure about to make you feel better.
Ignorance is bliss. The more people know, more miserable and pessimistic they become.
Am I the only one who wanted FL's powers to come back? Why does everything have to be normal? FL was special, why…
Losing powers is necessary to progress in life and learn to live and put trust in people like every normal person needs to. In order to have functioning normal relationship in future powers would be a curse.
Having ability to read people lies uncontrollably would probably drive you mad, depressed or make you isolated.
Yeah me too, how can they develop romantic feelings in just four episodes? I'm starting to think the only romance…
For show to be romance tagged as theme it needs to be core and very present in story most of the time otherwise Star Wars and basically almost everything filmed can be tagged a romance because it has some romantic relationship featured. No matter what they do in last 4 episodes this doesn't erase first 12 episodes not having any romance dna.
I think its very obvious what is expected when someone says we gonna watch romcom that it won't be Avatar that still features some relationship scenes, development and funny moments throughout a movie.

This is why many are fooled when it's done right.
You need to either fly under the radar or do it like orbit. Like that guy that is vlogger or something is playing the game smart.
