this review is based af. I disliked toxic relationships in this drama but what I disliked more is that show presents it as something normal and tries to justify it.
Thank your for reading my review ^^ In rom coms for me character are as important as plot. The plot was really…
I hated 2d ml. He was so hard to watch being abusive, jealous, overall so toxic but many characters in this show were really awful people for no reason. The worst thing is that its kinda normalized and accepted behavior and in the end they just brush it all up and everyone is together. Thats just crazy to me.
exactly my question! i don't get it. very bland dramas have over 8.5 ratings but why
What I am saying is simply that you can like theme and enjoy a show but still see many flaws in production, execution, acting, etc. Just because I liked 1 or 2 aspects I am not like wow that's a 10.
I enjoyed many shows with flaw and gave them like 6 or 7 but here it's like its either a 10 or 1.
That is just my opinion and in cdramas scores seem to be more inflated compared to others and all over the place.
I never wanted to drop kdrama that was scored over 8 on ep 1 but with many cdramas some niche and mediocre stuff is rated higher in comparison.
Basically I am just flustrated looking for very well produced and acted cdrama and it's harder to find when it's so deluted with mediocre stuff even at high ratings.
I haven't found cdrama that I didn't drop. This one is barely mid and highly over rated and I dropped it in ep1. I liked Crush the best so far, it started out great but got ruined in last 1/3. I am trying to get into cdramas but I either can't find the good ones or they are not for me. I tried high rated ones and they were not good, like baffling bad and some amateurish. Many productions and dubbing is off-putting and acting in many is stiff or just weird. I didn't have that issue with kdrama and jdrama.
they actually practiced for playing the game. they did their hard work
Legit first 5 mins show otherwise. She is tapping keys like crazy randomly yet nothing is on cd, she is swiping mouse as if that makes sword strike in same motion but mouse is used for movement / pointing spot on screen where you attack or last hit, etc. and not for emulated sword movements. Also she uses keys that are not same as keybinds to her skills. They try to hide this in some shots but you can see it not matching. Even if this was bad editing it doesn't excuse most of these things.
I only watched ep1 so far but something feels off with this production. Its feels kinda scuffed and amateurish…
I watched some more and dropped it. characters are either toxic or unlikeable or both. Idk why kdrama glorifies or tries to justify some of the awful things or traits.
I only watched ep1 so far but something feels off with this production. Its feels kinda scuffed and amateurish at times. Cuts / editing is weird, camera makes no sense sometimes or borderline causes motion sicknes, color grade is awful for rom com and doesn't fit, audio / dialogue sometimes sounds like its picked from internal camera mic, etc.
How do so many cdramas that are so mid get such high ratings. In this one FL can't even act and for show focused on gaming they can't even use mouse and keyboard.

People who like gaslighting might enjoy it I guess.
