OMG THIS IS AMAZING i GET that Chaiyan at first i was annoyed by his actions then i understood him and actually…
Yeah the sound of it in the comments ("rape") had me dreading it but I think it was done about as well as it could have been done.

They both have feelings for each other but Jee is less conflicted about them for obvious reasons. There was no physical force, Satit tried to back out of it.

This wasn't a romantic night. It was an emotional (and physical) release for the two characters but with some obvious regrets afterwards.

This drama is fun.. but gosh chaiyan needs to stay away from Jee!!! isn''t that common sense??!!!
I don't really like either one. He obviously has no idea how to set boundaries or put his wife first when the decision should be easy (he hangs out with Jee instead). Piak obviously has control issues but the fact she almost always seemed to be second to him hanging out and talking with the lead actress - even from the start of the show - is a bad sign.

The drama will likely keep them together but I think they should just break up and both mature as people before they go around causing people even more pain. I have little sympathy or time for either one.

The main couple is the only reason to watch this for me at least. I guess there's some nice emotional relief with Daraka and deep-voiced baby-faced guy (I forgot his name, it's late).

It's a tough one. I feel like Hwarang and Moorim School in particular straddle that fine line and are close to being "idol dramas" (in a bad sense - the drama isn't good and looks like it was made because they could get a bunch of idols). I'm not saying either one is a bad show but they both felt pretty weak to me in terms of writing/direction.

A problem I have whenever these singers get cast in shows (not so much movies) is an overwhelming majority of the comments and ratings get really polarized. Fanbases mobilize and they hate on particular characters just to support the character their idol is playing.
It's unfortunate and I'd like to think it doesn't influence how I view stuff like Hwarang and Moorim School - but I'm guessing it does have some influence.

I wonder if any new information has been released. I remember a month or two ago there was a press release at an event involving DramaFever (and others) about the expanding and growing popularity of Asian/international TV content in America. I believe the press release also said DramaFever had the license to season 2 and they were expecting it in the spring/summer(?) But I forget where I read that and now I'm worried I'm remembering things wrong.

I liked it. I liked Xiao Xiao and Si Niang. The main "couple" was a bit nauseating but the other 2 women were fine (even though Si Niang was a bit obsessive over her love).

Title Hwarang
It's an OK overall drama but I didn't really get into it. The pacing by the writers/directors is a bit iffy at times. As an example of this: some scenes that involve crying go on way too long with a character just sitting there crying with no dialogue. It looks like they're trying to kill time.

As 2017 moves along - I think it will be overtaken by other period dramas. It's not bad by any means but unless you're a major fan of one of the cast members - give it a try but don't bother re-watching it (if you drop it or finish it).

Nothing too preachy. It's about a man struggling to raise a kid. A woman struggling and focusing on her career and trying to make it work her way (instead of slaving away to people she despises). The more I look back on it - the more I appreciate it.

There is some ridiculousness - it is partially a comedy but some good insights mixed in with the comedy and it never feels really preachy or anything. Both the leads grow as people. It's like wine for me - gets better as time passes.

Janice Wu is the actress who carries this drama. Some people may not like it but her animated expressions and actions made me laugh. I think everyone else was a little too muted, serious and the dubbing was hard to deal with (sometimes it is).

This drama was gotten exponentially better and after episodes 7 and 8, I've officially fallen in love with…
It was definitely a little shaky for 5 and 6 immediately after the re-write but 7 and 8 make it seem more like the previews for the show which is a good thing.

Surprised by the low rating. It's a pretty lighthearted drama with comedy and romance. There are some life lessons thrown in too. Sometimes things got a little soap opera-y but I think the show managed to stay grounded over the 16 episodes. I wouldn't re-watch it any time soon but I am glad I did watch it.

Very short but enjoyable.. All episodes all up are about the length of a movie. Love female lead and Kang Chul…
Yeah. One of the better Korean short series out there. Light hearted, good pace and ties up the loose ends.

Title Proud of Love Season 2 Spoiler
I don't understand the ending... Will there be a season 3?
I doubt it. The ending isn't super obvious but I'll try to recap and explain:

Shen Xi and Zhi Zhou have a fate together. They are soulmates (or whatever other term you want to use). But their fate is cursed.

The butler and Zhi Zhou figured out how the 'curse' came about - they met as toddlers when a man with a bomb strapped to him attacked at an event. Zhi Zhou would rather die as a young adult and still remember Shen Xi than no longer have a fate with her in it. So the butler convinces Shen Xi to go back and change the cursed fate so his boss won't die. She does that, she loses her leg. She remembers Zhi Zhou. Zhi Zhou forgets her.

And then Shen Xi goes to work... Zhi Zhou walks in and lock eyes with her. Flashback to a few minutes earlier and Shen Xi goes on a monologue about fate followed by:

Chen Han gets her purse(?) stolen. She steals Monkey's bike. Monkey gets his friend Brawny (Wei Ren) and Brawny jumps into the car of Wei Ye to chase down Chen Han.

The thief and then Chen Han almost hit Zhi Zhou walking down the street. This delays Zhi Zhou and throws him off-guard. He collides with Yu Tang seconds later and gets his suit stained. And with his personality... he wants to change immediately and calls his butler. The butler suggests he find a towel while he waits for a clean suit.

And then... he enters a business looking for a towel and he happens to meet Shen Xi - his soulmate.

The last episode lays it on pretty thick - but basically some fates are so strong that nothing can change them. All these little events happened to bring Zhi Zhou into that store. They still had a fate after all - a non-cursed fate. So it's implied Zhi Zhou will fall in love with her (she already loves and remembers him from past timelines) and they'll have a happily ever after this time.

Title Shuttle Love Millennium Spoiler
I wasn't satisfied with Qi Long and ZiYi ending!! Omg the 2016 coupe got their happy ending after Wang Lin…
I was also really disappointed with the ending.

We were told all series long about the consequences of what would happen if someone did what Wang Lin did... and yet it's implied she gets happily ever after with no consequences.

Here's my take on Qi Long and Si Yi:

We get a super-sad ending for Qi Long and Si Yi. Qi Long knows what will happen to Si Yi after she steps off that train in a few days (at most) and yet he can't do anything about it.

I think that's why Si Yi slapped him when she got off the train in the earlier episodes. He was just on the train with her and then he's standing there pretending not to know him (or he said something to upset her on the train but he doesn't know what at that point).

But you could also be right - this could just be the writers screwing up. I was hoping he'd travel to the time where she got shot (protecting him) and come up with a plan to take her to his time but I guess not.
