yeah I know I didn't liked P Prepai from start but Nawa? oh man he is just such a mute character tbh! he never speaks just MUTE. he don't think by himself but do what others say. such a naive character sorry 😑
only Phu and Ping are the most nice characters here.
This may sound harsh, but the series as a whole felt WEAK. Outside of the eye-candy (Film, JJ, Hasun), there wasn't really much to this series to hold a person's interest. The story was heavily disjointed from start to finish. This is honestly verging on "Doctor's Mine" levels of bad. It's not quite there, but it's pretty close. I'll leave the rest of my thoughts in a spoiler tag below. This series is easily a 6.5/10 (and that's being generous).
It was a struggle to watch this. I think the actor who played Phraphai should have been one of the leading male heroes instead of playing the bad guy. Zip for chemistry between the two male leads. 😳 The good thing is that it was only eight episodes 😜
I think it's not a good idea. I finished the drama in a positive note. A good ending, even if not everything was…
since a lot of kdramas are owned by american networks lately theres no way around it. even though this one is owned by jtbc its obviously a cash grab, they had an empty production slot and decided to reuse an older successful drama, even though the finale didnt give me any hint or desire to want more of it.
I've high expectations for this. The Book and the Manhwa are brilliant. Tho i must say Lee minho doesn't exactly suit the physical criteria of Junghyeok. Woo do hwan would've suited better in my pov. Also wonderign how far its gonna cover.
homophobic BL watchers like you shock me every time like i still cant believe you exist... maybe stop watching…
you are reading the book that intentionally tailored for zeenunew be fr. it is INTENTIONALLY following nunew dynamic in real life. even author of the book confirmed by herself. but i get where you are coming from. you dont like his role in CP because you feel nattasit suits better.
Your entire argument is built on contradictions. You claim expertise as a BL fan while dismissing any representation…
This conversation has clearly moved beyond BL dramas into much deeper issues. Let me clarify that my critique was never about dismissing your lived experiences as a gay man, nor comparing you to Trump (that was your own analogy). My main point stands: judging a character's validity based on clothing choices, regardless of the source material, reinforces rigid stereotypes about how queer people should present themselves.
You're completely right that real world LGBTQ+ struggles matter far more than television shows. However, media representation does shape cultural perceptions, which is why diverse portrayals including flamboyant princes are important. You disliked this particular interpretation of the book, which is fair. I disagreed with the reasoning behind that dislike, which is also fair. Neither perspective cancels out the other's validity.
To be clear, I never accused you of hating ladyboys or queer people. I simply questioned why a prince's glittery costume became the breaking point when queer expression has no single standard. That was my only point.
We obviously agree on what truly matters: combating real world homophobia and transphobia. Perhaps we could focus this energy toward that shared important goal rather than arguing about fictional character costumes.
You claim to be lgbt+ and not be homophobic, and yet you are speaking like someone who is homophobic. This comment…
I can understand his frustration as the type he’s describing has always been the stereotyp for gay people in the West, so him not fiting it and seeing it as the only representation can be annoying I guess. But yeah it turns out his way of saying it can end up looking homophobic, it’s totally fine to be more « feminine » or « masculine », and it’s ok if he has preferences, but no need to bring one down for that. It’s great that, as he highlighted with his example, there are different types of representations now, expecially in Thai BL, so if he doesn’t like one type he can find another one which will suit him better
The Dresses are for me a little to much too.... Maybe, the novel author has given the order for this kind of dresses?…
I have read the Book too. But related to Charan and the Charan in the books i the a lot of similarity. But we only known the trailer, so its not easy to judge the complete series.
But i think, in the book are the clothes very detailed decribed. At least partially. So, who knows, which idea this was.
At long as the series is good, i can somehow overlook the dresses ^^
I watched the show until now and pretty much enjoyed it thoroughly and came here to see what others think and…
exactly like if we wanted to watch a straight drama there's a lot a lotttttttttt we started this drama becoz of LGBTQ+ label not to watch the straight couple getting more screen time than the main leads!!!

Yea the manhwa did AMAZING without a straight couple, which begs the question, why was a straight couple/romance necessary? Besides some key chemistry moments between Heesu and Seungwan important for heesu to fall in love has been cut off.
The show's good but its important to discuss these issues. Valid criticism is necessary. If this were an original people would be fine but its an adaptation and people generally are more critical with adaptations compared to originals for obvious reasons.
