Just came here to say that I LOVE that the rich heiress fl is not actually a brat. Was tired of bratty arrogant fls being the norm in this genre but in this case she has a legitimate reason why she can't "offer a hand" and they actively show how she hates that she can't. Love the ml and fl's dynamics together too. Nobody's dominating the other, they're perfectly in sync so far and i hope it stays that way throughout. I'm dreading the love triangle even tho ong seongwu is great but excited to see how it goes nonetheless!

Ohh i love all of these! Especially love the vincenzo idea and even dark romance. I've been wanting to see some kdramas in these genres, he'd be the perfect lead! I could also see him in a buddy duo action comedy like bad and crazy or bloodhounds...tbh he's so versatile and made for those roles 😭

I know rightt😭 come to think of it he always draws attention even in other shows like flex x cop and filing for love too😭

Have only seen nam joo hyuk in vigilante before and found him pretty underwhelming there so I was really suprised by him in the east palace so far. Love how playful they made gu cheon, very vibrant and engaging to watch. Also love his cat and mouse dynamic with roh eun soo and their playful teasing. Great pairing and dynamics for a ghost hunting duo for the first episode!

Idk if i'm just over saturated from bloodhounds 2 earlier this year and teach you a lesson and wonderfools, all of which i loved, but this show isn't hitting as much as the ratings suggest it should for me as of rn...the plot seems somehow forced and I'm not fully sold on the whole world building and chemistry between the leads. But the action choreo is still top notch and so ji sub can totally throw a punch 👊

Coupang tv looks like a rising contender for original kcontent...loved everything about absolute value of romance, very original on many levels. Likewise, this drama looks really interesting too...I'll be on the look out for more coupang stuff in the future as well haha!

Ya that was my point...there r too many subplots to wrap up now, even 30 eps dont look lik it will be enough...maybe it's just my preferred taste to have shorter more focused plots...

Couldn't agree more if I had to!! Last year was barely survivable with one mediocre second chance romance after the other... I thought they'd exhausted their entire canon of second chance romances last year for at least a decade and was happy this trend seemed to die with most of the romcoms that came out this year...but with this show and Our Sticky Love, it's looking like they're slowly bringing back that 2025 energy again 😭 I'm dreading it but hopefully the romance streak continues with better shows for the rest of this year...so far, other than Still Shining, Dream To You and Our Sticky Love, most of the romance kdramas had reciprocal relationships with feelings developing from scratch, and I'm here for it!!

This is a good drama but i feel like, as is the case with many cdramas (modern and otherwise), it could've wrapped up around ep 20. The slow burn romance, main characters' traumas and sub plots feel too drawn out at this point to sustain impact and interest. For a drama centered around bringing an overlooked football team success, it loses focus with too many episodes that inevitably bring too much clutter...
