Why do they ALL have chemistry with each other, what is a girl to do?? Even the ml and sml have chemistry together ughhh...a really fun unhinged romcom after maybe Spring Fever this year! They've set things up really well plot-wise so far, lots of misunderstandings that will inevitably be really funny to see them get worse and worse after each new lie until they finally resolve it. This drama really takes me back to the early 2000s era of dramas with all the chaos and fun 😍

Love that mom and dad had a fight, resolved all their misunderstandings and now are back to being each other's number 1 all in one episode, thank you, makers! Kang family for life!

I feel like Ji Soo was tired of all the drama and simply took this scandal as a chance to leave while he could, coz there r actors who have done worse and been convicted for it (unlike his case), who r still thriving here with fandoms. So many actors get name dropped in bullying allegations that die down eventually too... As someone who started working in the industry since he was a teen, he probably really did want to escape the noise because i do believe people would've eventually forgotten things if he stayed long enough. He probably didnt need that negative attention and misplaced guilt...also...middle school...i bet we were all some variation of "bullies" back then...🤦‍♀️ the fact that he isn't playing a victim, genuinely seems content now and has slowly established himself in a foreign culture and even learnt a different language is worthy of respect 🤷‍♀️

Not a "typical urban drama"? 9 out of 10 cdramas are about a woman's sole struggles and the ml is simply eye candy...this is literally the standard especially this year...

Looks like knetz are taking this as a chance to hate this man coz he doesn't fit their ideal standards for looks 🤦‍♀️ so many other male actors who act really shy and awkward in interviews too but they're choosing to only call this man out 🤦‍♀️

The main couple have insane chemistry. But im loving how kind cha woo min has made the sml too lol...i hope they keep his character mature and likable throughout tho without getting into the usual sml antics

Ep 1 was so fun! A proper romcom and the leads have great chemistry. I've been wondering why some leads have great chemistry and others don't and i think it might come down quite heavily on the male lead's acting and how interested they seem in the fl lol...idk how it works but it's just a working theory i have 🫠😂 Kang hoon is such a good actor and so underrated for how good he is. He pulls off the "man in love" look so well, one of those actors who has very expressive eyes and knows how to use them well haha

Also speaking of great actors, cha woo min was really great too. I totally squealed when he met up with the ml at the bar lol...that scene had me thinking this was a bl coz damn those two got great chemistry 😂 also didnt know cha woo min could be so believable as an idol but i actually really liked his idol dancing bit in the intro!

Also also only used to seeing kim hye jun in serious roles so this was really fun to watch. She is a seriously good actress, has got immense range. I totally hated her in kingdom, thought she was a badass in a shop for killers, and here, she was straight up adorable and naturally funny. This show is an adaptation but it's very rare that a kdrama actually feels like watching a webtoon (in a good way) and i think a big reason for that is kim hye jun's lively bright screen presence

Ya true they could've made the moms more three dimensional. Even the antagonist feels a bit caricaturish. But those r the only two criticisms i have for the show overall, it's just that fun otherwise 🥹

That makes sense! Since u've found that this works for u then there's no trouble. I for one know i would lose out on a lot of original experiences with shows if i relied on viewer opinions alone tbh. Coz i think i have outrageous taste compared to the majority here lmao...our universe (and sold out on you) for example r two of my fav romcoms that came out this year hahaha...and if you've followed those two, u would know how noisy the hate/criticism is with those two. So i know i wouldve missed out on those dramas if i waited for the reviews to come out after they finished airing. Likewise I've been disappointed by a lot of popular shows i started coz of public opinion too, like agent kim for instance. It felt like the most mediocre action drama that released this year out of all the ones that came out so far for me 😅
