Can someone tell me how the hell did Miho get the Leukemia thing? It's not an illness that can be gotten from others like the flu, right? So how the hell did she get it that easily? Or they just trying to make the plot overly dramatic and emotional in the two last episodes by making her get ill and maybe die and making PCH be devastated? Like seriously why they be slowly ruining the plot?!
To be honest I don't really care if she dies, I never even liked her in the first place and I did kinda expected her to die or get very hurt due to her doing stupid, reckless, shit all the time, but I think her going through this illness thing is pointless and odd, like even the villains couldn't murder her and she just get sick?! Just like how they killed the wife of that psycho doctor after she finally left him, then just forgot all about it and her husband is barley mentioned as well...like why?
The plot is kinda going downhill all of a sudden, since they revealed big mouse to be the room leader, then he died in that stupid way, and decided PCH, the total stranger should be the new Big Mouse instead of all the others in the organization, and I started losing my interest, they now be making PCH smarter and stronger in a very unbelievable way like an anime protagonist, and everyone else dumb and weak as hell except Mayor Choi of course. Like now we know PCH was just a normal shit lawyer, normal innocent dude, how the hell is he able to come up with plans you would expect some mafia boss or something of the sort to come up with?! Like even the actual criminals aren't as smart as him, I know he went through a lot, but still...
And that geezer's death was also lack luster, they showed him to be all powerful and shit, but he dies easily in no time, then they say he has a psychopath son out of the blue and now Miho is dying, what's going on?! Lmao
Did they suddenly realize that this is a Kdrama and since Kdramas must have tons of dramatic nonsense in it, they now be adding as much bullshit as they can? The part where everyone were in prison and no one (both watchers and characters) could figure out who Big Mouse is and had to come with tons of theories was the peak of this drama honestly, that was when the plot shined.
I think overall Kdramas writers come up with very interesting concepts and ideas, but suffer to execute them properly, they do have the imagination, but almost zero skills to back up the creativity. Many dramas got very great plots, they can start in a very powerful way, but from the middle everything start going downhill and they lose their spark completely by the end. Other issue is adding too much drama, pointless sudden cringe romance that overpower the main focus of the plot be it action or or whatever other genre, misunderstandings and immature behavior (Especially when it's from adult characters), very unrealistic moments and outcomes...etc
They also add tons of annoying non well developed characters who ruin the watching experience, change the characters behavior totally for no reason, or nerf the actually good characters, and sometimes the drama personality as a whole switches, like from being a very dark thriller/all about psychology and mystery (almost borderline horror every now and then), it become your typical crime action drama with all clichés you would expect to see in plots revolved around police/detectives for example, or turning from comedy romance to angsty painful crap. I don't know why many of these shows feel as if they were written by kids who are still total rookies at writing at times.
Maybe he wanted to be strong and invincible enough before doing it so no one can easily accuse him of it? I guess that's the only logical reason, to make sure he can live a perfect powerful life after getting his revenge.
part 1 has its flaws too like a big build up until the most interesting part... like 1H30 mins before it only…
Well, although first part wasn't perfect (Which is why I didn't give it a 10/10 rating) I admit, but I really enjoyed it. I didn't care about the siblings crap honestly and knew they were gonna die any moment. They just existed to make the girl be a little more humane blah blah.
Still hate the action scenes, fighting isn't only about being flashy, tons of explosions, and stuff flying around. If I want to see such extreme fight scenes I would go watch anime or Marvel movies. Yeah I know it's not a realistic plot since it has people with super powers and all, but they could make it a little more classy, not rely too much on special affects.
I really hate it when they cast very popular actors/actresses just to make them show for like 2 minutes all for the sake of making sure their fans would bother watching the movie, like some ad, all for the fame and promotion (Which shows how much they know their movie is ass to rely on such methods lol). I kinda find it insulting for both said actors/actresses and their fans honestly. Especially when they are quite talented and Lee Jong Suk isn't a rookie actor after all, so either give them actual roles or never cast them to begin with. The fans will be all hyped to see their fav actors appear then they just waste hours for only one minute of screen time.
Well, glad the English part didn't bother you, but it made me cringe to death lmao
I was looking for this comment... I just finished episode 6 and I don't even know what to say anymore.Until then,…
Well, the drama gets much better afterwards so I'm glad I didn't drop it due to that episode, but I still hate it when they do that shit in the plot making everyone become childish and immature even though they are adults and adults doing a very serious job that others lives and future depend on. To make it worse it's females mostly who become that type of non reasonable crazy character with extreme mood swings and irresponsible behavior.
-Agree with the ML shit i was gonna let it slide if atleast it was 1 trope of the guy being annoying to her and…
Nope, they portrayed Africa is a very offensive and retarded way. But yeah I get you don't wanna bother talking about it since it doesn't concern you personally since I guess you're not fellow African and it's fine to not bother, I think it's better that way.
Also glad that you agree with the parts related to the ML and the work environment. These parts were truly bothering me. Yeah the ML whole character was so boring, annoying, and overdone I also couldn't help but roll my eyes over it.
Maybe it was problematic but there is no politcal correctness or snowflake culture in either japan or korea, so…
You don't get me, the fact that they keep saying Africa is what bother me, at least they could mention the name of the country. Same as someone saying that all Asians are nerds, all Arabians are terrorists, all Americans are gun crazy psychos, or all Latinos are dirty minded (That generalization is what irks me and is basically a type of racism and stereotyping at this point). Saying Africa makes it seem as if whole Africa looks like that, especially with them going all the way to show these scenes. There is a difference between saying this exact country is poor and filthy and this whole continent is poor and filthy. I don't care that they don't intend it or whatever, in this day and age and with the help of web and technology that allow us to learn about and understand everything, such things shouldn't happen, them using the "being ignorant, not meaning to, or not knowing that much" excuse like with Kpop CA scandals is stupid.
I suggest you to watch LJS in VIP (movie)/ Big Mouth (drama). Let's see if your opinion still stays the same :)
Ikr! They be trying hard to collect more reasons and evidence to hate on said actors, just to prove themselves right, piss off others, and feel superior. Like what the hell made them that petty in the first place?! What a sad way to live your life Lmao
Maybe it was problematic but there is no politcal correctness or snowflake culture in either japan or korea, so…
Reason it's bothering me is cause I'm African myself and I have been living in Africa since I was born, so I know some countries in Africa are actually pretty nice and developed. Yeah my own country isn't great, but it's not nearly as bad as the places they show in these dramas, nor the Kongo you talked about. You know till this day, some people ask me online if we live around lions and giraffes lmao I'm 24 years old and till this day I never had the honor of seeing a lion nor went to a jungle. So this is what am talking about, when they shows such things in media they make most people believe that all Africans still live as savage tribes in huts in the jungles whiteout electricity, water, food or proper clothes, hunting wild animals to survive meanwhile we live in cities, buildings, and have most stuff anyone should have in this day and age from food to technology.
Oh, it's cool. Honestly the only reason I decided to watch it is cause of the funny title. I think they did it on purpose as some sort of word play, but the drama is indeed shitty honestly. At least to me it is.
Maybe it was problematic but there is no politcal correctness or snowflake culture in either japan or korea, so…
They could've just said he went to some country in Africa to do volunteer job for a year and he is already back and call it a day, no need to show all these stupid offensive scenes. It's nice and okay to do volunteer jobs and all, but the way they show it is the issue making Africa always look like some utterly backward and disgusting hell hole lmao Yeah I know some countries are actually suffering, but not whole Africa is like that, the could at least mention the name of the country not just say Africa.
Should have been 8 eps tops. Way to dragged out with many filler scenes.
And so many unnecessary characters and couples with their stupid love stories...I think Kdramas should start making more dramas with 8 episodes maximum like you said from now on honestly.
Don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but in case you're not no, it's supposed to be Shooting Stars, although in my personal opinion Shitting Stars sounds better lmao
Seriously, after I watched the first part I was so freaking hyped to watch the second part to know what will happen next (Not gonna lie, kinda hopped Woo Shik's character will come back to life somehow lol), especially since the FL actress in that part nailed it. This part though...was kinda ass compared to part 1.
Everything was basically a shitty copy of part one with less interesting FL and plot. The foreign actors were cringe as fuck, the Korean actors trying so hard to copy Woo Shik speaking English and sounding badass was painful as well (Apparently according to them, saying FUCK!!! Every damn sentence is how you sound cool, seriously even actual Americans don't speak like that lmao...), I was half sleep during most of the movie and only scenes I 100% focused on during the movie were Lee Jong Suk's scenes, seeing him all of a sudden with long hair was a bliss, but guess what? He had 2% screen time, like seriously why cast a very popular actor to give him a minute or so screen time?!
I only finished the movie hoping he will have some badass moments like Choi Woo Shik, but nah...this part was quite pointless and messy honestly. Even action scenes were a bit rushed, I could barley make out what was happening during them, I wanted fights like the one between Da Mi and Woo Shik in first part, detailed with really nice moves. Not just cars and people flying around and dying after one hit. This is why some shows/movies better have only one part/season.
I suggest you to watch LJS in VIP (movie)/ Big Mouth (drama). Let's see if your opinion still stays the same :)
Ikr, I love Lee Jong Suk and his acting, he is awfully charismatic, yet I didn't even get to finish all the dramas the hater above mentioned lmao I personally wouldn't bother watch that many stuff of someone who I don't even like to begin with so I don't understand why they wasting their time like that.
He's such an amazing actor!! Wish he would do historical kdramas too 😍🥺
A Goryeo one (I think that's how that dynasty is called?) with him wearing a nice Chinese inspired Korean traditional outfits and letting his long flawless hair down with some nice bangs. I would kill to have that, not the Joseon one with the odd transparent hats, hair up, and overly puffy outfits.
To be honest I don't really care if she dies, I never even liked her in the first place and I did kinda expected her to die or get very hurt due to her doing stupid, reckless, shit all the time, but I think her going through this illness thing is pointless and odd, like even the villains couldn't murder her and she just get sick?!
