You echoed my thoughts. FL is sassy or rude or stuck up for no reason. I felt writer wanted to give her a badass…
Exactly! Thanks to these two episodes I'm kinda worried about how will the writers handle her personality. I really hope she improves, but I find it quite unfair that they are making her seem as this amazing, talented and serious director when Shi Woo who is supposed to be the newbie is million times ahead of her already. She should be the one to mentor him not the opposite. Her way of dealing with her ex fiancé was still bad, she needed to do more actually and didn't have to throw a tantrum in front of everyone in workplace but well...I guess that's how he managed to fool her all that time. Everyone, especially her family noticed there were some red flags about him and yet she the "careful" one decided to ignore it all just like she ignored what Shi Woo and her co-workers said and acted as the know it all instead. I guess it shows how that in many workplaces, having more experience or connections might lead to unworthy people handling highly paid and better jobs meanwhile the truly ambitious and talented ones stay as nobodies cause they are young or have no one to support them. Her ignorance with handling the hail warning could lead to serious accidents or people dying. That scene was actually terrifying! Imagine going out your house only to get hit on the head by a huge and sharp piece of ice all of a sudden.
So many haters tried to down the ratings, but still 8.1 till now is outstanding.Don't know why in k dramas people…
I totally agree! Just cause someone has been nice to you and helped you, doesn't mean that you should force yourself to be with them if you don't want to. After all they are the ones who decided to be nice to you, you didn't force them and so they should also allow you to choose what to do. Yeah, their kindness might lead to you liking and admiring them romantically as well, but if it doesn't then you shouldn't torture yourself by being with them, they also won't be truly happy cause you don't share same feelings. Sometimes, simple emotional support (Someone to stay by your side and help you accomplish your dreams by working together) can be more helpful than financial support AKA charity. Han Ji Pyo is more of an older brother/mentor figure than a lover honestly. If you do something good while expecting to get something in return then that doesn't make it sincere at all.
I'm 6 episodes in and even from here I can see that Dal Mi will still chose Do San as she should..and I'm not…
I totally agree! Both Dal Mi and Do San share the same struggle and ambitions. They help, understand, and support each other. I find them quite fitting for each other meanwhile Han Ji Pyo feels more like their older brother and he is basically their mentor and should stay that way in my opinion. I really hate the overuse of pointless love triangles in Kdramas.
My thoughts exactly, especially when they had her freeze while the man collapsed. URGH
Ikr! Like even if a total stranger whom you never met before collapsed like that on street while you were passing by, you would still react more that that. Let alone your mentor/chief whatever he was supposed to be.
Is it just me or am I the only one who felt quite bored watching the last episode? Also it's irritating how Maze was like "You left me...blah blah" to Phap when he was the one who told him to fuck of to Japan in the first place. Also how he advised Neung to talk to Than but he won't talk to Phap properly himself, Idk I couldn't really feel the chemistry between leads even till the end. The plot was just meh and if it wasn't for my love to singto and Yacht as an actors I wouldn't bother keep watching the drama in first place. Nae was also cute but both Neung and Maze were a pain in the ass. This is my least favorite role of Singto.
At first, Song Kang's character was a bit childish. but suddenly he becomes different at the end of episode 2…
He is more of a sassy, savage dude with angel vibe/ baby face lmao yeah he's mostly cheerful and innocent, but when needed he can be a bad boy too. I love his personality!
Ep 1: Honestly only reason I decided to watch this drama was because of Song Kang. He looks really adorable in this drama. I can't help but smile whenever he smiles innocently, I really adore him lmao I prefer this type of innocent, cheerful, and energetic character for him along with his emotional characters in Sweet Home and Navillera over the toxic ones in Nevertheless and Love Alarm. I don't know why they try hard to make him take playboy/creepy lover roles. Also I'm not a fan of the lead actress and I don't know if I should like FL character or hate her, she is clearly hard working, intelligent, and has a strong personality. I like that she is the careful type cause I relate to that, but she can also be quite cold, stuck up, head strong, rude, and irritating at times. Like when that dude collapsed, she just stood there like a freaking log and didn't bother showing that much expression even though it was literally her fault not his, she might done it to not stress him, but it lead to him almost dying still...I was glad when Shi Woo scolded her. I actually never thought weather forecasting was such a deep and important job, like hell now I admire them! I can't believe that her damn bf cheated on her right before their wedding with Shi Woo's gf, like seriously?! Why would that bitch cheat on such a sweet, loving, almost perfect boyfriend like him?! The bf is also bold enough to actually decide to marry the other bitch and take the stuff in the apartment, like omg he is such a freak! At this point I want her to run him over with her car. Just a slap is nothing. She is kina annoying I know but he could just break up with her then do whatever he wants instead of cheating on her. The whole concept of dating a co-worker is indeed a big mistake since it means both your personal life and work life would turn into chaos, and be filled with embarrassment and drama if things go south between the couple. I was glad that she scolded her ex finally at the end of ep 2, but everyone witnessed it, so I couldn't help but feel hella uncomfortable watching that. The flower bouquet scene was dope though, I died laughing at that. It was brilliant! I like how sassy, savage, and blunt while smiling like angel he can be. Ep 2 : I know many people probably wouldn't like that the romance is moving fast, especially since the drama has 16 episodes. I do admit myself that I'm not a fan of one night stands, overly focused on sex types of relationships (Like the one in Nevertheless), that's why I can't stand Western romance stuff, cause they are always about sex. But Surprisingly I didn't mind it here, I mean Shi Woo is a great guy, he isn't toxic and I get sometimes anyone would be in the mood for some spicy moments in their life even if they aren't dating or want to commit to someone. Especially since both got cheated on by their lovers whom they truly liked. I guess slow burn romance can sometimes be overly draggy and painful to watch so a quick, healthy one without too much drama, cheesy crap, and misunderstandings like this one is a nice change. I support it. The sex scene was also nicely done, It wasn't disgusting, vulgar, or over the top. The handshake and Shi Woo's reaction to when FL told him to be mature and forget about it was really funny. So far the drama is decent, not that great but still not bad, I do want to watch more to see how their relationship and obsession with their job gonna turn out, I hope FL's personality will improve in future episodes and that they won't try to include too much depressing shit. I won't say I like the two leads together that much since their personalities don't match well for now, but who knows their chemistry might get better later. Why do they treat ML like an idiot, like the boy basically can predict the weather correctly as if he has some sort of super powers, yet they all ridicule him and make him feel like a retard. He should be the one in the FL work position instead of her, she doesn't seem that great at her job honestly even though she does work hard and all. I think Kdrama industry is still unable to create well written strong female leads yet, some female characters are actually badass and good (Like FL of Hotel Del Luna, The villain females in The Devil Judge and Queen Seon Duk, FL of Empress Ki and Hwang Jin Yi...etc), but most of the female characters end up being a pain in the ass. They tend to mix being rude, stuck up, violent, and bossy with being cool and strong which is a total bullshit. I also can't stand when they make tomboy girl characters nice, chill and fun while girly, feminine ones absolute bitches with stress and anger issues. All the things FL said about her ex (Cares a lot about his looks, takes forever to dress up, can't eat spicy food, act overdramatic when he gets sick, bad at directions...etc) all these stuff describes my mother perfectly, it's terrifying! She is also one hell of an insecure at times and toxic person to deal with...
Bro, like historical fashion has some pretty bad stuff in it, some ridiculous stuff and some just plain old insane…
Finally someone said it! I totally agree! Like the outfits in dramas like Moon Lovers, Empress Ki and Hotel Del Luna...etc were so beautiful but the outfits in this type of dramas are just hideous. Even female outfits and hairstyles can look like shit sometimes in Joseon era.
The reason why most of people in comment section later support her decision is -By watching the ratings people…
About the haters. Song Kang is an actor. Yeah both of his characters in Love Alarm and Nevertheless are not great, but that's not a reason to hate on the actor himself. His roles in Sweet Home and Navirella were amazing. He was such a poor and sweet character in both. Also personally I don't think that Hye Yeon or whatever his name is, is that great. At least Sun Oh was bold enough to admit his feelings while Hye Yeong just stayed in the shadows for years and lied about his feelings. He was more of a creep to me. Sun Oh's way of approaching Jojo was fucked up, but after they became a couple he treated her very well, stayed loyal, and supported her even when whole school and family despised her guts. He was childish and kinda pure in his love for her in a way, then she decided to just break up with him out of the blue without bothering to explain why, making him miserable for years. His character in Love Alarm was 10 times better than Nevertheless.
fuck- They rlly fucked up poor Sunoh because of the whims of the writer.... He went from childish teen to frustrated…
From which drama is Xuan Ji? Also yeah I agree, just cause she is too scared she ended up ruining the boys friendship and made them both miserable, especially Sun Oh. Yeah, he was a creep at first, but still after they became a couple he treated her well, supported her when others bullied her, and was quite loyal, romantic, and affectionate even...then she had to go and date his fucking friend whom she doesn't even have feelings for. Everything about the plot and this FL are making me hella pissed off!
