I totally agree! Both Dal Mi and Do San share the same struggle and ambitions. They help, understand, and support…
Sorry, I know I came late but I hate how due to their weird criticism the drama's rating got way lower. This drama could have a 9 rating or something but the second lead fans ruined it. I watched all episodes and didn't see what was so awful about Do San, before I watched I imagined him to be a total psychopath thanks to their comments, but instead he was such a sweet guy and a really caring and faithful lover. He did act a bit whiny here and there but apart from that, he has a big heart. At least after Dal Mi broke up with him (Which was one of the most pointless breaks up ever. Like couldn't she just support and wait for him till he comes back from US and focus on her career during that time or something? A distant relationship could success, if they truly cared for each other.) Also Do San was with her in every step she took since they ere partners and co-workers meanwhile Han Ji Pyeong was just doing the mentor job. (Which was his duty, not something to expect them to be grateful for) and even when doing that, he could be overly rude and harsh when advising them, I get that you should be honest but not straight up cruel at time.
Do San didn't try to force himself on her too much like Han Ji Pyeong whom even though she made it painfully clear that she didn't view him in a romantic way, still kept chasing after her and even tried to keep Do San away from her by using lies. The part when he told Do San to get his permission before meeting Dal Mi angered me, he was acting as if he is her father or owns her...(To be fair he told her about most of what he did afterwards). If he truly loved her then he should let her be with who she wants to be with from the start. Not decide to totally give up in the end of the drama.
Personally I would also pick Do San over Han Ji Pyeong (Not cause I'm Nam Joo Hyuk fan, I like both actors of the male leads) because I liked his personality and related to him way more. He was a great lover and friend too. Totally respected his parents and supported Dal Mi all the time (Unlike Han Ji Pyeong who could be quite rude lots of times. If I was in the grandma place and he kept saying shit to me after I helped him since he was very young, I would smack the shit out of him lmao)

Hopefully this show will be now free from toxic second male lead stans. The way they sabotaged this drama at every…
Personally both (I'm talking about the characters here, I don't care about the actors real life issues) were red flags but I still preferred the ML. Han Ji Pyeong gave me major "nice guy" vibes. A guy who act all heroic and kind to make the girl fall for him and when she doesn't, he becomes an asshole and believe that he is a victim when no one asked him to be nice or heroic in first place. If you truly care for someone then you shouldn't expect them to repay you for your kindness with their heart. Let them make their choice and don't try to ruin their chances with other people whom they like more just cause you're jealous.
So both male leads had issues, I don't get why everyone views Ji Pyeong as a tragic hero.

The lies last very long and when it is unveiled, HJP still behave like a dork. He does not play any good role…
Yeah, just cause he wrote the letters and helped her few times he acts as if he owns her heart by doing so. No one owns her and she has the right to decide on her own what she wanna do. Han Ji Pyeong is being the typical "Nice guy" type who tries hard to win the girl by acting like a hero and when she doesn't pick him in the end he turns into a jerk and pretend to be a victim.

Yoon Park should be given a role where he doesn't get to play a total prick.
Ikr! He is really good looking and a good actor too. He would be fitting as a nice, kind male lead character.

Yeah, I don't get why everyone are so upset that she didn't end up with Han Ji Pyo. Just cause someone was kind to you it doesn't mean that you're obligated to fall for them by force. Yeah it might make you love them, but if it doesn't then you shouldn't feel bad about it. If they are sincere about it then they shouldn't expect you to return the favor back anyway.
Everyone is acting as if Dal Mi was dating Ji Pyo first then cheated on him with Do San. At least she stayed loyal to Do San from the start to the end. I don't get their logic.
I mean it's true that the grandma made Ji Pyeong write the letters and everything, but it's not like she forced him and he didn't show any romantic feelings for Dal Mi until he learned that she was looking for Do San and as soon as Dal Mi and Do San seem to be falling in love, he decided to get jealous and shit?!
1- He was basically an adult 18 or 19 years old when Dal Mi was still a junior high (I guess) student.
2- He never was into her till another man became into her. He got all upset that he had to be nice and get nothing in return for his kindness which is kinda fucked up in my opinion. He also started acting as a victim when no one forced him to do anything. His love for her is so rushed and weird, idk. It feels as if it was added to create drama in the plot and that's it. This is one of the worst love triangles I ever came across in my whole life. Do San might not be a perfect lover material, but Ji Pyeong also has issues. Just cause he wrote the letters and helped her few times he acts as if he owns her heart by doing so. No one owns her and she has the right to decide on her own what she wanna do. Han Ji Pyeong is being the typical "Nice guy" type who tries hard to win the girl by acting like a hero and when she doesn't pick him in the end he turns into a rude jerk and pretend to be a victim.

"You're my destiny" made me love one night stand dramas ahaha so I don't mind
Well, if they are done right then I also would watch them without serious problem, but when one of the characters is awfully toxic and the sex scene are over the top then that is when it gets gross.

You echoed my thoughts. FL is sassy or rude or stuck up for no reason. I felt writer wanted to give her a badass…
I know! His abilities need to be talked about and everyone should realize how talented he is, so he can achieve higher position to be truly helpful. If she keep taking all credit for everything he does in future episodes, that will be it for me. I will drop the drama, cause I won't be able to support their relationship if such a thing happens. Shi Woo is clearly not a fool even though he acts cheerful and innocent most of the time. I doubt he would just stand aside and let her be in the spotlight that easily which might lead to tons of drama between them, which I also wouldn't enjoy honestly cause I hate too much drama and misunderstandings. Since this drama is revolved round mature adult characters (Not typical cringe teen rom coms), I really hope they won't take that path cause it will totally ruin the plot.
I get that anyone would love to be as successful as possible, but taking others hard work and passion for your advantage. Especially without giving anything in return is just unbearable to see even in a fictional story.

Well based on her reaction, she really thought she could predict the weather using the books I suppose lmao
I also don't understand how she managed to get promoted...
There a difference between being "careful" and being uncaring and selfish. She didn't bother to admit her mistake related to the hail, let the chief take the downfall for her till she got busted by her co-worker, and ignored her mother, and everyone by using the careful excuse which lead to many problems. She kinda behaves in a childish way at times too. That discussion related to money was super irritating, considering that she did make a mistake which lead to accidents and stuff breaking left and right after the hail which obviously also lead to waste of money to fix what was ruined. That mistake alone should've made her not say something like that. She make wrong choices then still pretend to understand everything, act stuck up, and lecture others even. Just like Shi Woo said, she doesn't care what her actions will result in. Even if she make a wrong choice, she just wants to save as much money as possible and that's it...
So far she doesn't fit the professional woman with high position and knowledge image they tried to give her at first. Like she can't even make a logical quick decision when needed and just stand/sit there with a blank expression for a while instead. Yes, she should've dealt with her ex fiancé at the same moment or when they are alone instead of creating a scene in front of her co-workers who are supposed to respect her. Why make everyone know in details everything about your failed love life?! That was just super humiliating even when she was the one scolding him mostly. It was disrespectful to the workplace as well, people should keep their personal issues as far as possible from work environment cause she wasn't in a freaking bar to yell and act that way. If I were her boss and witnessed that, I would be hella upset. She isn't a teenager after all (Though some teens can be more mature than that).
They tend to do this a lot in Kdramas, make the FL seem competent, smart, and talented then turn her into a useless damsel in distress/fool later so the ML can shine by becoming the truly useful, quick to act hero, and cool one. This drama along with other examples like Start-Up and Hit the Top show that.

Well, yeah I know all that, but her job basically requires her to be fast and make quick decisions cause every minute is important. Her spending hours to make a choice when it comes to everything (even someone dying in front of her) can lead to a disaster (Which actually happened both when it came to the hail and the chief collapsing...) she is supposed to be intelligent and professional, but all her actions are plain stupid at times. Even after they took the guy in the ambulance, her way of behaving was kinda rude and unrealistic honestly. You do need to be serious in workplace but not inhuman literally. She allowed the poor man to take the fall for her mistake and didn't bother confessing till that other guy snitched on her (Which she deserved cause she made a big mistake by ignoring her chief and making the choice on her own). Don't forget that her being "careful" made her believe that worrying about money is 10 times more important than worrying about people's safety. Of course her personality might improve in future but we can't really say she is a great character till now.

I finished watching 6 episodes and the other girl in Samsan Tech team (Whom Do San's friend likes) is such an annoying character. As if Dal Mi's sister wasn't enough, they had to add another super annoying female character to torture us with...like why? Why there is always at least one unbearable bitch in Kdramas plots. I guess these types of characters are supposed to be cool and badass? (Like damn Tsundere characters in anime) But they aren't, they are just a pain in the ass.
Apart from that, everything else is great. I'm highly enjoying and learning stuff from this drama. The leads along with their friends and Han Ji Pyeong are such a loveable and relatable characters.

Exactly! Thanks to these two episodes I'm kinda worried about how will the writers handle her personality. I really hope she improves, but I find it quite unfair that they are making her seem as this amazing, talented and serious director when Shi Woo who is supposed to be the newbie is million times ahead of her already. She should be the one to mentor him not the opposite.
Her way of dealing with her ex fiancé was still bad, she needed to do more actually and didn't have to throw a tantrum in front of everyone in workplace but well...I guess that's how he managed to fool her all that time. Everyone, especially her family noticed there were some red flags about him and yet she the "careful" one decided to ignore it all just like she ignored what Shi Woo and her co-workers said and acted as the know it all instead.
I guess it shows how that in many workplaces, having more experience or connections might lead to unworthy people handling highly paid and better jobs meanwhile the truly ambitious and talented ones stay as nobodies cause they are young or have no one to support them. Her ignorance with handling the hail warning could lead to serious accidents or people dying. That scene was actually terrifying! Imagine going out your house only to get hit on the head by a huge and sharp piece of ice all of a sudden.

So many haters tried to down the ratings, but still 8.1 till now is outstanding.Don't know why in k dramas people…
I totally agree! Just cause someone has been nice to you and helped you, doesn't mean that you should force yourself to be with them if you don't want to. After all they are the ones who decided to be nice to you, you didn't force them and so they should also allow you to choose what to do. Yeah, their kindness might lead to you liking and admiring them romantically as well, but if it doesn't then you shouldn't torture yourself by being with them, they also won't be truly happy cause you don't share same feelings.
Sometimes, simple emotional support (Someone to stay by your side and help you accomplish your dreams by working together) can be more helpful than financial support AKA charity. Han Ji Pyo is more of an older brother/mentor figure than a lover honestly. If you do something good while expecting to get something in return then that doesn't make it sincere at all.

Ikr! Like even if a total stranger whom you never met before collapsed like that on street while you were passing by, you would still react more that that. Let alone your mentor/chief whatever he was supposed to be.

Is it just me or am I the only one who felt quite bored watching the last episode? Also it's irritating how Maze was like "You left me...blah blah" to Phap when he was the one who told him to fuck of to Japan in the first place. Also how he advised Neung to talk to Than but he won't talk to Phap properly himself, Idk I couldn't really feel the chemistry between leads even till the end. The plot was just meh and if it wasn't for my love to singto and Yacht as an actors I wouldn't bother keep watching the drama in first place. Nae was also cute but both Neung and Maze were a pain in the ass. This is my least favorite role of Singto.
