is this about the beginnings of communism in china? people were happy about that?
I am happy about the fact that Lusi has her first actual tv drama, which is aimed at a much bigger age demographic which will let more people see her :) There are actually some funny scenes and fighting and catching spies etc, which is a lot more then I expected. I even cried a little when Lusi was crying her heart out in one episode.
The first chapter with Lusi is in the 1950s, chapter two with Cai Wen JIng is in 1980 and then Guan Xiao Tong in 2019. So we get to see different settings with different plots. Which also means that each chapter has not that many episodes which in turn gives us a more compact story and not dragged out like some dramas tend to be.
The first episode is really fun! Mangotv subs are always bad but I am enjoying this anyway :) So I suggest you try an episode to see for yourself if you think it's worth watching even though the subs are bad.
Even though mangotv subs leave much to be desired I have finished all 6 episodes and I am surprised at how much I ended up enjoying it. I even cried a little.
I haven't seen Jing Boran in anything so I have no clue about how good an actor he is. But what I do know is that Lusi has chemistry with basically anyone so I think it will be fine no matter who she acts with. Besides his movie with ZDY Us and Them was well received so I don't have any complaints. I just hope the script is good and the costumes can shake it up a bit from the regular setup.
How rude to poison that letter! There he was minding his own business with his daughter and that happens :( It is sort of weird though how the poison didn't manage to touch someone else.
