I recognize both Yang Xu Wen and Gao Si Wens voice actors from other works but no clue about the rest :) Yang Xu Wen is dubbed by the actor who dubbed Xu Kai in Falling Into Your Smile. I can't place the female voice actress but I know I've heard her before.

I think most of the cast is dubbed, except for some of the senior actors but I am not sure where to see if they are dubbed.

I started with J-drama, then moved to K-drama and then C-drama. Each new language sounded strange until you have listened enough too it :) I am happy you enjoyed this. It is one of my favorites.

This is much more slow paced compared to LBFAD and it takes a long while before the main leads get together. It is also a bigger focus on the ensemble cast and their stories. Some find that the conversations here are too long, while I enjoy them.
If you enjoy a slower drama then I recommend you give this a go. The first 4 episodes are a bit slow but if you get past that it will only get better and better. Part two is where most the action happens and the pace is faster.

I am enjoying it but we've had people who dropped it, so I think it's a hit or miss for most. They get together because the female lead steals the male lead to be her husband in episode 1-2 and then they break up in episode 8 due to something the ml does.
He soon regrets it though and try to fix things.
I would say that the official get together is not really until episode 22, where both parties are interested in each other and not just it being one sided.

It depends on what your after when your watching a show. If you just want some easy going entertainment then no this is not for you. I found the setting interesting however and the acting was very good. Bad depends on what your expectations and own opinions are. If you do not enjoy political series then you should not watch it.

But you are correct in that this is not aimed at international viewers, as it's not an idol drama, and meant for a specific target audience.

I just hope Xi Jun get some more traits other then just being a lovesick puppy who gets into trouble and follows the male lead around.

I have not really finished any shows with him or Li Qin yet, since I am a slowpoke and have a hard time finishing dramas, but I am really having fun watching this.
