so CSS is supposed to be smart as hell but she sure is dumb as shit and cant tell when people are using her.....…
As Shao Shang said herself she will treat those who treat her well the same. Is she naive in this sense? Yes. Does that make a person dumb that you want to believe that someone is actually being nice? No.
When she ignored the advise from LBY and involved herself into none of business, implicated everybody to the worst…
The thing is with stubborn people you can't just say "Don't do this. I am saying this for your own good.". IF he had taken the time to explain to her more she would have taken more time to think about how she acted. But SS is impulsive and reckless, and she treats those who are kind to her well so it's not a shock that she wanted to help the Empress or the Crown Prince. Should she have done it this way? No. Change takes time and does not happen overnight. While I do not agree with all her actions I will miss how she used to be once she grows up and no longer finds happiness where she can.
I hope they keep the scene where Lusi and Neo Hous characters wrestle with each other. I have been waiting for it sense I read the interview where he mentioned it xD Hope we can get it soon.
Other dramas like this? When the ml is protective and really loyal to the fl and they don’t break up through…
Not the same genre but The Imperial Coroner is a good project, even though it's a low budget. We have two main leads who care about each other and are really sweet :) It takes some time to get there though but no breakups there.
8.9? Wow! Is it worth to watch? How did the relationship between ML and FL?
So is it worth the watch? That depends on what genres you like watching. Especially part 1 is more a coming of age story and centers a lot on Shao Shangs family. We have less of the male lead in this part, because that is how the novel was written.
We have beautiful sets with great cinematography and directing. Good dialogue and characters that are acting like real people instead of being one dimensional. The first four episodes are slow and there are some loud ladies which made some people drop it after 1-2 episodes. Personally for me things start to move faster from episode five.
If you only want to watch a romance drama, this is not it. It takes time for the "main" romance to form, and you might feel frustrated because it takes a long time to get there.
This is however a project that the crew was very happy working on, and the director himself is very invested in the drama and really cares about his work. So I would suggest this if you don't mind a slower pace where the characters take their time to grow, both as individuals and together.
WeTv used to drop VVIP episodes (were people could pay extra for those episodes) towards the end of popular airing…
Fast tracking was banned. However tencent was sneaky so for ADOS they did a special one time event which gave you the last 8 episodes + live stream with cast and some other performances. You could only watch it on your phone or tablet though and no pictures were allowed to be taken etc.
So episode 33 in my opinion connected well with the events in 32. We ended 32 with LBY telling Shao Shang that she might have put the Crown Prince and Empress in harms way and in episode 33 it did indeed happen. This will give another reason for the future Shao Shang to maybe think ahead more, instead of acting emotionally and coming up with a solution such as this. LBY also said that he would protect her, but that he wanted her to stay out of the politics of the palace. Here he showed that even though she did act recklessly and they had still not sorted out their argument he did protect her. Which also lead to protecting the Empress and Crown Prince. Did Shao Shang do something stupid in episode 33 with making counterfeit item? Yes but then she had also faith that Ling Buyi would help the Crown Prince.
There is a problem. Just saw on twitter that, that tiger seal magnet scene was added by script writer to make…
Compared to most adaptions though I think this one that has quite a lot of approval from the fans. The scriptwriters will always change something. So I'd say they should just be happy that they got so much right already.
That ending scene with Old Consort's husband being happy about her possibly taking her own life was hilarious.…
Well these ladies threaten that quite often and yet they never do it so. They are just saying it to try and gain sympathy. Yuchang certainly learned it from her female elder xD
