I am still on ep 11 so I can't really tell :) But in many dramas where the lead end up in a fantasy/different time it usually ends with them going back to their regular life in our century.

They are also doing the prequel stories, which is why its 60 eps in total for the whole project. But each part has it's own number of episodes + distribution license.
