For DailyMotion, did you click the gear icon on the bottom right and put it on 720 so you get the higher resolution? I get frustrated waiting for Viki's subs as well.

I tried again to support him and watch this series but it just wasn't for me. I'll catch him on the next one.

Thanks! Viewed that one when it came out. His career really started to take off after that series with higher profile roles in some of the blockbuster series. I hope he keeps going and with more ML roles.

Same here. I've watched Fang in several historical dramas and his acting is always on point. I was hoping he'd get more ML roles in series with a great script. I might try to get past that first episode here since King Law said it was more like Heavenly Sword, which I thought was a decent watch.

Hopefully, it will get better in the ensuing episodes, especially for Alen Fang's sake since he got a rare lead role.

Yes, and everyone is stupid on both sides. The first episode is so boring, I don't think I can continue to watch. There are better series out there currently.

When something is not on kissasianpe, I go to Dailymotion and Bilibili. There are lots of sites out there but I primarily use those 3 as I've had no problems with them. I also pay for Viki (standard); however, for the Viki Plus content, especially for Korean historical series, I catch on the 3 above mentioned sites.

Agree, her part was unwatchable.

The drama was so great in the beginning with the flirtiness of Ren An Le toward the Crown Prince; however, once her original mission is completed and she becomes Di Zi Yuan, a person so angry that she no longer relates to the Crown Prince who she herself stated was innocent in the whole mess, the story line becomes flat and doesn't recover until the end. I skipped all of Di Cheng An's parts as they were so cringe. Surprising that the writers didn't close out the story with even one kiss given the historic yearning that went on between the main leads. All of the acting was on point and Lin Lang's dancing was superb.

I agree. I had a Tencent WeTV subscription that I signed up for in September 2022 as I like to watch mostly Wuxia / Xianxia and a few Republican dramas; however, WeTV didn't put out a single series of any note between September 2022 and start of summer 2023. I cancelled my subscription for the coming year.
